Mitsis Grand Hotel

What a wonderful hotel. The staff went out of their way to make our stay wonderful. Aspecially Nefali, Giota, Kuryaki that took great personal care of my wife’s special dinner whishes. Great people!

If this is your first vacation you probably won't mind too much. But I would not book this hotel again. Rooms are definitely old. Not enough outlets. No vanity kit or other amenities in the room to speak of. Tiny tv. Noticeably noisy. Hallways have no sound dampening, my room ended up being above the restaurant so all the noise from the 24/7 restaurant made sleep practically impossible. Tiny bed. Double bed is two tiny beds put together. Very firm mattresses. My first room had a foul odor. Second did not. Overall not a five-star experience. Overpriced for what it is. Food is decent. Pool is good. If you're not planning on spending too much time in your room then choose wisely.

We had an AMAZING experience at MITSIS Grand Hotel in Rhodes. We were a group of three friends on vacation and everything was perfect. The staff was incredible and always went the extra miles for us. The food was outstanding and plentiful! A special thank you to Vicky who was always attentive to our requests and so pleasant to speak with. To Irini at guest relations who made sure our stay was perfect. To Dimitra, Marios, and Popi at the restaurant who served us great fresh food and to Francesca, Marinos, and the rest of the all star team who made our vacation memorable! We will come back! Thank you!

Booked 3 nights to end our holiday in style: first impression was the welcoming and professional staff on reception. Room with a side Seaview, it had a great view across the pool and over to the beach and got the sun up till late morning. The room must have been impressive once but it was tired and need of a re-vamp (and it's been mentioned there will be a big hotel renovation late this year). But it was clean with good facilities such as a stocked fridge and kettle. I recommend you get the Mitsis App as you can book restaurants and access all the hotel info. During our stay, we sampled the Pan-Asian and Italian a la cartes and all of the food was top quality so we thoroughly recommend this hotel for its' cuisine. The buffet was plentiful but was too busy (only ate there once) but we did enjoy the pizza, creperia and gyros by the pool area. also, the ice creams are delicious, the honey and yoghurt my fave. All of the staff were friendly and very efficient. Bar staff never stop as it gets very busy. The cocktails are extensive and great. We tipped several times a day and this was appreciated. The only negatives were the tiredness of the hotel which will soon be addressed, along with the terrible sun loungers (metal frames and very uncomfortable) and there could be more variety at the buffet, for example, more seafood and at breakfast nuts/seeds/berries/juices/smoothies, the only juice available was orange. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

Had the most amazing week holiday here with my boyfriend-now-fiancé! We had a pool view room booked but we were upgraded for a sea view room which was just dreamy. So perfect that it provided the ideal location for my fiancé to propose. The food was great throughout the visit with lots of options. We managed to eat at every a la carte restaurant - our favourites were the Asian and Creperie for sure. Great service from Mario, Aris and Dimetra in the Asian brunch and evening dining. We booked a day trip through the hotel and they provided a snack pack which was a great help. Minibar in the room restocked regularly and room always tidy and clean. I told them on the app about our engagement and was able to arrange for a personalised cake and Prosecco to be left in our room as a little surprise for my fiancé after we had been out all day. Quick walk over the road to the beach with free sun loungers to enjoy and a short walk to Rhodes Old Town and many other attractions. Lots of varied evening entertainment available each night and a good indoors area for the kids to hang out in, making some peaceful areas for grown ups. If I could make any changes: - being able to book into the a la cartes more than once if they have availability- we really wanted to go back to the pan Asian! - a specific cocktail bar section on the main bars. These really slow down service if you just want a beer, wine or spirit and a mixer so having a separate cocktail bar would help I think. Saying that, I’d give this hotel 10* if I could and it will always be an amazing memory for us.

Amazing experience. After 15 years we are still pampered here. The food is insanely delicious. As well as great service. Special thank you to Popi Saroukou, Yiannis Chalkitis, Mr Manolis, Savvas Magafas, Lefteris Mandanis, Giotalena Passara, Giota Panteli, Litsa at the main bar and probably I forgot many people.
