Blue Sky City Beach Hotel

Ι visited the hotel yesterday as my daughter was giving her English exam there. I was greeted by the most friendly and happy reception staff who were constantly smiling. After reading other reviews i learned that the wonderful guy i spoke to while I was there was Michalis the Manager.I have to say that he is an absolute credit to the hotel with his welcoming and friendly personality.He even gave my daughter a hug after her exam. I work for a scuba diving company and visit many hotels daily fff6 days a week but I have to say the customer service in your hotel is outstanding from what i seen from the short time I was there. Thank you all for your kindness I wouldn't hesitate to recommend your hotel.

My wife and I spent a week here in May 2024 and it has honestly been one of the best holidays we've ever had. Right from the very start the staff were so helpful and attentive. They really did go the extra mile for us whatever we needed. The room was great with an amazing sea view and all the amenities we'd ever need. The housekeeping staff did a great job looking after things for us and in general this is one of the cleanest hotels I've ever stayed in. We spent quite a bit of time down at the pool which is a great size with plenty of sun loungers and a really organised policy so everyone gets a fair chance to use them. A special mention needs to go to Michalis the manager who I'm pictured with below. I emailed before we arrived to see what options we had for food as we were arriving very late. Michalis emailed me back with information about what our options were. He was there waiting for us when we arrived even though our flight was delayed and gave us a really warm and genuine welcome that set the holiday off to a great start. He and all the rest of the staff made our stay so special and we will definitely be back!

We just stayed at the hotel and it was a great experience. The room was lovely with a sea view, everything was spotlessly clean and the staff fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble and they went the extra mile. I can 100% recommend and we will be back again!

Clean well run hotel the staff and manager were very friendly and efficient and we had a lovely stay.There was plenty of choice for breakfast and the food was very good.The hotel is in walking distance of bars and restaurants and we would happily stay at the hotel again

Wow,booked the hotel as a stab in the dark for a surprise for my wife’s 50th birthday and from stepping in the front doors to the most bubbly and welcoming of reception staff,to the room cleaners who were full of joy every morning ,the wonderful staff at every point of the hotel from the shop,the restaurant,the spa and the poolside bar and last but not least the manager who apart from unpacking your case for you couldn’t do anymore.We smiled upon arrival,and in the restaurant and around the pool.Thankyou Rhodes,Thankyou Blue Sky we will definitely be back and very soon 👏👏

We have just returned after 2 weeks at this wonderful hotel. All the staff from room cleaner right up to Michaelis the manager were exceptional. They went out of their way to ensure you were having the best holiday possible. Asked if everything in your room was okay, offered advice on excursions, bar staff remembered your fave drinks. Special mention to Konstantina in restaurant, this young lady greeted everyone with a smile, explained the shortcut to the old town, sat and talked to us one night when she should have been on her way home. We had room 512 top floor with a sea view out towards Turkey, beautiful. Room had everything, walk in shower, big comfy beds, safe, tea/coffee facilities, asked reception for extra hangers, delivered to room within 5 minutes. We booked B&B but went in the restaurant several nights and the food was very good, good variety and choice (18 euros). We will go half board next time and go out to eat a couple of nights (Dali, Spetkesi and Traverso) are good. The pool is a good size, plenty of sunbeds, usual dawn raiders though. There is a spa, my wife had her nails done. Sauna, steam room and jacuzzi plus other treatments. The hotel is a 15 min short route or 25 mins coastal walk to the old town which is a must it has a fascinating history. Along the harbour there are various boat trips to Symi, Lindos, Chalki, even day trip to Turkey. Take the hop on, hop off bus, 15 euros per person, it takes you around Rhodes town and gives you an idea where places are to visit. Just one note the tourist tax is 7 euros per night at the hotel, so 98 in total for two weeks. We will definitely go back to Rhodes and the Blu Sky will be our hotel of choice.
