Moschos Hotel is located right by the beach and has been renovated in 2020/2021. The hotel is family owned and the owners were super welcoming and friendly. During the booking process you will easily see which rooms have already been renovated. We booked the Superior Room we featured a large terrace with view over the ocean. The room was newly renovated and very clean. Bed was very comfortable and the area was quiet. Walking distance to the beach was 1 minute, with the hotel also offering a nice pool. There are plenty of restaurants in walking distance and you can also do a few hikes without needing a car (eg up to the close by monastery). Cab from the airport took 20 minutes and was 30 Euros with tip. We can definitely recommend this place!

So me and my brother flew in from England and stayed the week here, I booked before I looked at reviews then when I saw them i obviously panicked and thought it was gonna be a sh*T show, thankfully it was way better than expected. Firstly the location is great, 10 min walk from old town and the bus station where it costs €5 to go to lindos etc, sea a minute away, plenty of shops and restaurants around. The staff are very friendly and no extra fees were pushed on us, the room was clean, sure a bit of peeled paint was on the walls (not shocked due to humidity of Rhodes) but it was clean and nice. The room was cleaned 4 times in our 7 night stay and we enjoyed our visit, will definitely be staying again. I think some people pay for 2* and expect 5* lmao. For a 2* hotel it was way better than expected.

Stayed for 6 nights all inclusive with Jet2 at the end of August. Lots of pros- The hotel is spotless clean and the staff are wonderfully friendly. It seems like an incredibly small team and they all made us feel welcome. The pool area was gorgeous, there’s a really nice breeze coming off the sea which takes the edge off the heat. Never an issue getting a sunbed (we’re not the type to go down early and put towels out at all! Whether we arrived at 11am or 4pm there were still beds). We had a late flight in (arriving 2am approx after delays) so food had obviously closed for the night but they’d left plates of food and bottles of water in our room which was a very appreciated touch. Overall, couldn’t fault the food for dinner or breakfast, lots of choice and we always had full plates. I found the snack bar a bit of a disappointment as this seemed to be what was left over from the night before which was just left out buffet style to help yourself (wasn’t a huge fan of left over stew in the blazing sun). Greek salad was amazing! Cons- Hotel is on the side of a busy road which is hard to cross and drivers seemingly ignore the zebra crossing a short way up from the hotel. The bar/ entertainment area is next to that busy road which just felt a bit strange. The entertainment is incredibly low budget but Willie does what he can. It’s very much audience led/ audience participation style entertainment which can get a bit tiresome after a few days. Few tips- public transport is easy but be prepared to wait a while for a bus as they are busy and often full! We waited an hour for one. For a sandy beach, get the bus to Faliraki. Rhodes acropolis is worth a visit, as is the old town. Not worth booking a hotel excursion though, just get the bus or walk it. Lindos is beautiful but try and get there early as it’s hot and busy! Also, you will need 50c for the toilets there.

The hotel had been recommended to us but I have to say we were disappointed. Our room was lovely but on an extremely steep hill, taxing in the heat but manageable for us (we are in our fifties & both keep fit & are in good health) The cocktail bar was great to meet up with our friends before we went out. It is our 2nd visit to Pefkos so we had already eaten at the Nostalgia restaurant on the rooftop of the hotel & our meals there were a delicious as the last time (the hotel give you a voucher for a free half carafe to redeem here too) So we went in August ( due to my job we have to holiday then) and the hotel was full of kids. We had two 17 yr olds with us & we must be out of touch with how noisy the young ones are but even this wasn't really an issue. There seemed to be a lot of very large family groups, all reserving lots of beds so we really struggled to get sunbeds ourselves. There were six of us on the first week, 3 of us on the 2nd week. There were signs up regarding the management would remove towels if unattended after 1 hour - well, these rules were not enforced. There are 3 pools, the bottom teardrop shaped pool is the most pleasant, then there is a middle baby pool, useless for us, then the top main pool. The pool was rammed with people & big daft giant inflatables. This pool area isn't pleasant & made worse by the strong smell of old frying oil from the poolside bar. My husband would go down at around 8.45am & struggle to get 3 beds next to each other, one day we only managed 2 and a plastic chair. We came down to join him at 9am and there was noone around for hours! He sat on a plastic chair amongst about 4 dozen empty beds, eventually all but 6 filled up, we had a trip planned & were packing up to go & get changed at 3om - when the 2 families that had reserved those 6 sunbeds finally rocked up! They had two toddlers with them two so wouldn't of even needed the extra two beds! I was seething, they had clearly spent the day at the beach. Everyday was the same so we gave up, we had 16 nights at the hotel & used the ( very expensive) beach instead and several nearby pool bars, which were way nicer than the pools at the hotel anyway. Downside is, if you want to cut costs & make your own lunch ( albeit having to walk back up that hill) then this isn't possible as you have to purchase food & drink at the pool bars - I recommend Anixis Taverna, lovely quiet pool & food there amazing and the rock garden pool. So, ultimately we won't return here, maybe we should of complained but regardless, it was too loud, too busy & I hate to say it, too many big rough ass families all shouting across to each other & hogging up the sunloungers.

We had absolutely brilliant experience at this hotel. It is very very clean and tidy, the staff are friendly and helpful. We were family of four (kids aged 9 and 12) and we are already planning our trip back next summer to Rhodes and Lardos Bay hotel. The beach is only around the corner and in July it was not mega busy. There is also a shop and water sports center on the beach. The hotel also has relaxed vibe about it. We enjoyed all the meals and there was enough choice for vegetarians too (out of the two freshly cooked pasta the other one seemed to be always vegetarian). It was also nice surprise to find out that you can enjoy beer and wine with your lunch and dinner. Thanks for Rebecca at reception sorting us a room that was ready earler than check-in time on arrival and helping us with a car hire. This hotel is a lovely gem!

Outstanding
My husband and I had a two week holiday here in August to relax and unwind. The hotel is lovely with incredibly friendly/helpful staff . The bar staff work incredibly hard, especially those at the pool bar. The young man who served around the pool was very attentive and everything you needed was catered for. All of the on-site restaurants were sensational, especially the Italian which served an amazing Filet Tagliate. The waiting staff here were just superb and you felt truly spoilt. The animation team were fun, chatty and excellent at getting you to have some fitness whilst on holiday! The aqua aerobics was by far the best I’ve ever had on a holiday. Rooms are spacious with a coffee machine and well stocked mini bar. The beach bags were a fantastic extra too. My one big gripe about this hotel was the swimming pools. They were a great size but unclean. Loose tiles were in there and in the pool at the pool bar it had an awful lot of silt/dirt which had come loose from tiles. I understand that repairs probably can’t be done mid-season but cleaning can. As this is meant to be a 5* hotel, more attention needs to be made around the pools. All in all we had an amazing holiday with great weather, views and rest. Just get those pools sorted!! Xxx

GGuest UserFantastic hotel. Would stay here again without any hesitation. The all inclusive food was superb and the best we have ever had (including restaurants) the room with private pool was brilliant, spacious and light. Well stocked mini bar!! My only slight observation would be that some of the hotel needed a bit of minor cosmetic attention (cracks in glass etc) and room housekeeping (sometimes hair and fluff left on floor) but this did not detract from the quality of the overall stay. There were quite a few children around and other reviews suggest plenty for kids to do, however we didn’t take our children on this short stay but believe they may have been slightly bored if they had come along - besides a small pool / slide and play area there did not seem a lot for children. Please keep in mind we were not specifically looking as we were child free so this is not a criticism . Booking of restaurants is essential - download the mitsis app which was a godsend! It features all restaurant menus and concierge so you can add extras. . Super impressed with the hotel!

FFranciscoThe location is amazing, in a quiet corner of Vlycha beach, where it feels calmer and relaxing. It's also conveniently located at 10-min drive to Lindos town. The beach is just 3 mins away on foot. The hotel is very modern, has a new feel, very minimalistic which we like very much. This is an adult-only hotel which we prefer, so we really had more serene mood. Breakfast is fantastic, a lot of variety so we didn't get bored within the 5 days we were there. Dinner at one of the restaurants (Agistri) was great, the service was nice. The hotel also allowed us to check out late at 1pm (standard is 11am), which was nice because we booked a facial treatment at the spa at 1030am on day of check out because it was the only available one that morning. The shower was working perfectly, with a view of the pool and the sea. Our private pool was always clean and looks new. Housekeeping staff was also very friendly and did proper clean up. Opportunities to improve on: 1. The butler was not friendly at all, which is disappointing as he was the first person to greet guests at the lobby. We arrived at the front with our rental car, and he didn't even greet. He was quite aggressive when we asked where to park the car, and he simply pointed wherever vacant spot on the street we see. He was also responsible to walking us to our room with the luggage upon check in, and that was a few minutes of awkwardness too. 2. The check-in was a bit clumsy. Although the reception lady was really nice, he assisted us to check in via the hotel app (which we first had to download). That took some time when it was possible to simply check us in the normal way. I understand that the hotel wants to push the app to guests, but perhaps best to check in the normal way first THEN ask us to download the app afterwards. This way, it doesn't feel like: if we don't download the app, we cannot check in. Because in the end, we find the app helpful. We were in Lindos town one afternoon, and reserved our massage and dinner at the hotel via the app while there. 3. The room phone line did not function the whole time we were there. We reported it on day one, nothing happened. We had some questions that the app couldn't answer, and we always have to go to the reception to ask little questions, like how much the bottle of wine in the room costs, or if it's possible to do late check out. 4. One one night, we hang out at the pool bar and there was only one service staff. We had to wait for about half an hour to get our drinks, and he only passed by once to say it's coming though we can see the bar and no one is preparing anything. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much and the value for money is worth it. We will come back again and recommend.

GGuest UserYes, the personnel is kind and helpful, the breakfast is not qualitatively great but they seem to struggle to diversify it, the room service is great, they regularly change everything, but.. You cannot plan your hotel with the washbasin inside the sleeping rooms because you projected the so called bathrooms to measure two square meters and you wanted the whole place to match 10-15 square meters in order the proprietor to earn double than normal. These are rooms for cats and dogs, not for humans. Unfortunately there is nothing to improve regarding this issue. Maybe if you break the wall between two rooms and make a normal one.. Three stars due to the good personnel and service only.

GGuest UserThe hotel is clean and well maintained and the staff are helpful and friendly. We didn't eat in the bar so I can't comment on the food but it looked good and plentiful if a little overpriced! Be aware though that almost EVERYTHING is an extra so budget quite a bit more if you want to use sunbeds, air conditioning or wifi. We didn't as the costs were outrageous. We had a Superior Studio apartment and the beds were very comfortable and the room cleaned daily. We didn't find any of the 'complimentary' toiletries which they advertise although we had a lovely but empty liquid soap dispenser! The shower is really good and would be better if the shower screen had been bigger. They do supply a squeegee for you to remove all the water that sprays all over the bathroom floor. The shower has a fixed head and can't be adjusted and there is a switchable hand shower head for squirting your 'bits'. A good hair dryer is provided. The biggest deal-breaker for us was that in no way was it a fully equipped self-catering apartment. There is NO KETTLE, NO TOASTER and very little of anything else in the way of kitchen equipment. A coffee peculator is provided which is useless (and I stress useless) for making tea. If you want to self-cater, the very reason we booked this hotel, don't bother booking here. You will be very disappointed. If you want to eat out there are many very good restaurants within very short walking distance. You'll be lucky to get breakfast before 10:30 AM though. If you are a light sleeper then think about what it would be like sleeping within one meter of your fridge compressor turning on and off all night long. The balcony is far from private and ours had only a view of an orange tree which was sprayed with chemicals (I assume) every couple of days! It was right next to the walkway to all the other apartments which is great if you want to meet everyone while you're trying to eat your boiled egg and no toast breakfast washed down with lukewarm tea! All in all we had a great time in Rhodes and this hotel could so easily be made to be perfect but sadly I really think they are more interested in taking money than providing a comfortable self-catering holiday experience. Still gave them an above average score though for all the good reasons stated above but we won't be staying there again for all the many bad reasons. Be sure to check out the Royal bar just round the corner. The food is wonderful, the owner and staff are fantastic and the prices reasonable. A bit further on is the San Allotte restaurant which is equally good (maybe better) but more expensive.

HhwhatadumpThe Hotel Mediterranean is a well-known, emblematic establishment situated in a strategic location, very close to Rhodes' old town with its glorious architecture. A seemingly endless beach is directly in front of the hotel, hence we booked a sea-view room in order fully to appreciate the view. The hotel boasts spacious rooms which have very recently been refurbished to a very high standard. Most members of staff were polite and efficient. We would like sincerely to thank each and every one of those who contributed to making our vacation in Rhodes a very pleasant experience. We should also mention that the General Manager's prompt intervention solved immediately an issue that arose upon our arrival. We are grateful for that and appreciate her professionalism. The Hotel Mediterranean will certainly be our first choice, should we visit Rhodes again in the future. Kind regards!

GGuest UserA lovely hotel with very friendly staff - as you'd expect for a 2 star it isn't the best place in Greece but it's perfect for those who expect to be out and about constantly. We used it as a place to sleep and have a few dirnks whilst getting ready and it was great: the staff couldn't have been more helpful giving us a key fob so we could come in late at night, offering us free drinks and booking us taxis

What a wonderful stay . We were due to travel to the hotel in August 2023 and due to the wildfires , sadly, the trip was postponed. We were so grateful that the hotel accommodated our booking and we couldn’t have hoped for a better stay . The rooms are amazingly laid out to create privacy - we stayed in the king bohemian suite with private pool. It was like a mini villa , lovely soft linen and towels in abundance with gowns and slippers provided . A wonderful shower . The room was very spacious with all the amenities that you’d expect from the Curio Collection. The main pool area has plenty of choice for sunbeds ( shaded and exposed.) There are also canopy beds and loungers on the beach ( no extra or hidden costs ); as well as a water sports provider . There is a handy shop on sight too as well as an ice cream parlour. The staff were all fabulous and helpful. Food on the buffet was excellent and there was plenty of choice for everyone. There are also three on site restaurants to choose from ( on half board you can choose to eat at each restaurant once in a week ). The spa is a must and was one of the highlights of the week - I’d highly recommend the 2 hour signature treatment which was lush ! Plenty to do around the area too. Lindos is 20 minutes by car . Naverone bay was amazing for snorkelling and 15 minutes away . St Paul’s bay for diving and also a stone throw away. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserThe staff, more specifically Ilias, Sofia, the gentleman with long hair that received us at the reception and the lady that serves breakfast, were really nice and this is was without a doubt the best of it. The breakfast was good, on the other hand lunch and dinner was someday's better and someday's worse but the staff was really slow, everyday there was lack of food and we had to ask for more and we had to clean our own tables before we sat down. The cleaning was the worse, the linens were no changed at all, the towels were meant to be changed every two days but this did not happen either. The floor was dirty with sand, hairs and anything else that fell in it because it was never cleaned. It is quite far from any of the sandy beach's of from the capital, 30 min driving for Rhodes and Faliraki or if you want to go to Lindos 1 hour. The pool was good, but the surroundings were dirty. Nonetheless, considering that it was all inclusive, even that not all drinks were included, but there was beer, 4 different cocktails and Greek vodka, gin, tequila, the price was good.

I am very happy with the time I had in Filermos Village. I am an active person so regular activities organised by the enterntainment were a big advantage for me. Apart from that, the service in Filermos Village is very pleasant, Whenever any problem appeared, the staff were always going to help me out with it. Special thanks to Mrs. Kinga! What is more, the food was tasty, it met my expectations, I can’t find much to complaint about. Strongly recommend this Hotel :) I am very happy with the time I had in Filermos Village.
