We stayed for a weekend in what they call a hotel but in fact it is a small tourist village, made up of apar**ents with a veranda. I'm a little disappointed by the hospitality. Let me start by saying that we booked together with another couple and that we were assigned a very basic apar**ent with a minimal room and they were assigned a much larger apar**ent, recently renovated and more comfortable. In any case, when we pointed out the difference at reception, we were told that this depended on their internal needs and therefore our friends' rooms were upgraded... but we were not informed. And if you notice that guests are disappointed you try to make them happy, which has not been done and is far from the idea of hospitality typical of the place. For having paid over 200 euros per night and for a 4 star hotel my room certainly did not live up to expectations. Bed made up of two single beds attached, not even very comfortable, poorly repainted room, very small with wardrobe that you have to close the room door to open. Good cleaning. The salt water swimming pool is beautiful, but not very safe due to the presence of non-slip tiles. Very relaxing beach location with sunbeds available. All very retro. Non-existent animation. Abundant and varied breakfast, but lacking in homemade products, or typical Calabrian ones, all industrial stuff... with the absence of bells that prevent flies and insects from settling on the food... in short, not 4 stars. Restaurant with sufficient structure, with the possibility of ordering pizza or sandwiches or first/second courses or salad for lunch too...not modest prices and no option for half board. I hope this is a starting point for improvement.
