The village is located in a very beautiful natural context. The staff is helpful, professional, polite and ready to meet guests' needs. The breakfast is good as are the dishes in the restaurant. In summary I would happily return

I have been going to this resort for 10 years now, and it seems right to give a review... my room has always been cleaned every day, excellent sea view and both wonderful swimming pools and excellent service, exceptional lifeguard and always available. a dream holiday every year and never a disappoin**ent, suitable for children of all ages. excellent entertainment with well-educated kids and dances and shows until 11pm at various times. perfect gym and wellness area without shouting and noise, a place to relax and with full responsibility. recommended for everyone, I love this village.

Horrible food. How can anyone make food so tasteless of beautiful italian ingrediences. It must be a gift! Nothing to do except sun bathing. A place full of germans, loud and noicy. Unfortunitely they get the best service in the restaurant.

A lovely quiet resort. Perfect if you want to relax with no entertainment. Very difficult to get anywhere for sightseeing or shopping. No local buses. Hotel offers mini bus service but they can work out a bit pricy 50 euros to nearest town of Tropea which is worth a visit. Suggest you ask other holidaymakers to share with you to reduce the cost. Or hire a car. The room we had was at the top level with fantastic sea views and set out like an apar**ent. Not enough utensils to cook though adequate for snacks for lunch. Balcony and sea view worth paying extra for. Gym and 2 pools useful as sea can be a bit rough . Swim shoes helpful to navigate rocky beach. Sun loungers and umbrellas on beach free . Great to read and relax. Weather hot at end of September. Suggest you take mosquito spray . No shops local to buy any. Food good and plentiful . Starter, first course pasta , second course fish which was undercooked and slimy or meat . Then desert. Breakfast continental style with a bit of scrambled egg and bacan .Pizza from pizza oven a welcome change. Site kept well by all staff , including gardeners ,chamber maids and buggy drivers . Overall great sunsets ,lovely place for a complete unwind but not easy to travel about.

Spent 1 week at Cala di Volpe with my family and it was ok. Nothing special. It’s advertised as a 4 star resort but there’s very little that makes this a 4 star resort. I’d give it 3 stars on a good day. The accommodations were very basic. There was only 1 dining table which was outside and nothing inside. TVs we’re only present in the bedrooms and they had a very limited channel lineup. AC worked really good. The beach was nothing like I was expecting. Yes it’s clean and the water is amazing but there’s rocks everywhere and it’s virtually impossible to enjoy the water unless you buy water shoes…even then it’s easy to injure yourself. Most other beaches in the area have less rocks. Pool area was nice but the cap requirement in the pool is ridiculous and utterly useless. The jacuzzi isn’t hot and the jets are very weak. Pool closes at 7pm each night which is also quite dumb for a beach resort. Activities at the resort are nil unless you’re a little kid and they have some activities for kids. Nothing to really do at the resort. Restaurant quality is ok but prices are very high especially for the area. Easily 40-50% higher than most restaurants outside the resort. The resort was ok but for the amount of money they charge you can find much better.

We stayed for a weekend in what they call a hotel but in fact it is a small tourist village, made up of apar**ents with a veranda. I'm a little disappointed by the hospitality. Let me start by saying that we booked together with another couple and that we were assigned a very basic apar**ent with a minimal room and they were assigned a much larger apar**ent, recently renovated and more comfortable. In any case, when we pointed out the difference at reception, we were told that this depended on their internal needs and therefore our friends' rooms were upgraded... but we were not informed. And if you notice that guests are disappointed you try to make them happy, which has not been done and is far from the idea of hospitality typical of the place. For having paid over 200 euros per night and for a 4 star hotel my room certainly did not live up to expectations. Bed made up of two single beds attached, not even very comfortable, poorly repainted room, very small with wardrobe that you have to close the room door to open. Good cleaning. The salt water swimming pool is beautiful, but not very safe due to the presence of non-slip tiles. Very relaxing beach location with sunbeds available. All very retro. Non-existent animation. Abundant and varied breakfast, but lacking in homemade products, or typical Calabrian ones, all industrial stuff... with the absence of bells that prevent flies and insects from settling on the food... in short, not 4 stars. Restaurant with sufficient structure, with the possibility of ordering pizza or sandwiches or first/second courses or salad for lunch too...not modest prices and no option for half board. I hope this is a starting point for improvement.

Beautiful Resort, spectacular sea and comfortable beach, canoe and pedalo service. Fresh and clean rooms. Friendly staff. Quiet environment. Although the entertainers are very good, I would organize more activities for the children. The big flaw is the kitchen, poor quality food, frozen foods and disappointing dishes, very hard bread put on the table that was at least 2 days old, put in the freezer and then reheated, despite this the waiters have always been friendly and kind. Poor and unhygienic breakfast, Nutella to be taken with a spoon from the jar as well as jams. In short, if you go there, it's better to take the house with kitchen.

We stayed for a week, we had the rooms a few steps from the swimming pool and the sea. The quiet, clean beach. The sea was a fairytale, beautiful. The waiters and entertainers were very kind and very polite. Congratulations indeed.

We returned to this village for the first time after the pandemic, everything was ok with the staff always ready to satisfy our needs. requests for cleanliness always efficient, the restaurant always at the top, even if the historic appetizer buffet was missing and the much advertised Calabrian evening did not take place, however overall a good structure in which to spend a relaxing week
