Lovely old character building overlooking cricket pitch Extremely high standards of cleanliness and strict covid prevention standards Breakfast was perfectly cooked with lots of choice and really enjoyed their packed lunch slight road noise Would definitely recommend Cordilleras house

Absolutely superb in every way . Nothing was too much trouble . Rooms spotless and extremely well appointed . Food was of the highest standard . Hot tub was pure bliss. Booked a return visit as soon as we got home .

Highly recommended. Lovely room, spotlessly clean and perfectly quiet. Very pleased to have not just an en-suite shower but also a bath -a welcome soak after a day out in the country! Liz was an excellent hostess and made us extremely welcome.

Really enjoyed our stay. Liz kindly gave us an early check-in as we were going to the races. The room was lovely and clean. The bathroom had a brilliant walk in shower. It was nice to return on a cold evening to find the room cosy and warm. The location was perfect!

This is an extremely comfortable and welcoming place to stay. It is a few minutes walk from the main square and is ideally situated for exploring the town and this part of Yorkshire. The room was extremely spacious and clean and the owners where very keen to see that the Covid safety precautions were observed. The breakfast was freshly cooked and very adequate. This property is ideal for those seeking comfort and good service in an intimate and welcoming setting. It is to be recommended.
