Clean rooms, friendly front desk service. Restaurant and bar are closed but it’s right across the street from the tobacco factory and it’s food and environment are amazing! Great location and safe area to walk the streets too! We will be back for sure!

We loved our stay here. It was so quite that we felt like we were the only guest and the staff was amazing especially Ki that took care of valet parking. We loved the experience of feeling like we stepped back in time. Loved the hotel and disappointed to find out they are in the process of renovations to modernize. So glad we had the opportunity to stay there prior to the renovations

The hotel was clean but that’s about where it ends. I booked a deluxe room with a king bed. For one, it was a queen size bed. Not what I booked.
Second, the room was standard. I’m not sure what qualified as deluxe. Having a couch? A TV? Literally a standard room. Felt like I got scammed.
Great location but to call this hotel a 4-star is a crime.

Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly The room was very outdated Some electrical plugs didn’t work Iron cord was frayed There were blood stains on mattress cover….

I stay at the Berkley whenever I come to Richmond, and I love this hotel! Elegant decor with rich wood paneling. My room was clean, stylish and spacious. Customer service was perfect - friendly and efficient. Alfreda made us feel at home. The restaurant is delicious too!
