Overall, it was a great experience and I’d definitely recommend it. The food was fresh and tasty, and the service was excellent. It would be even better if there were more chicken options available in the breakfast menu.

The rooms in the old city, the stairs are narrow and steep, suitable for a small amount of luggage, otherwise it is too terrible. The room is still good, but the service attitude is too reduced. There is a problem when you check in. You can’t answer the phone and send an email. Trip.com also helped to contact, but I couldn’t contact it. Later, I found out that the staff (maybe the owner) lived next door.

The Hilton it is not, but the price paid wasn’t anything like that of a high end place. Ideal for a one nighter. The rooms are actually nice, although the building has seen better days. The staff were all polite and helpful.

I had a wonderful stay at Wellton Riverside Hotel in Riga. From the moment I arrived, the warm welcome made me feel at home. The customer service team was very helpful, assisting me with recommendations for the best attractions in Riga. The hotel’s location is excellent—perfect for exploring the main sights of the city, and very convenient for reaching bus, train, and tram stations. One of the highlights was that the hotel helped us get the best price for a boat trip around the city when booking directly through them. The rooms were in very good condition, clean and comfortable, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Riga!

The location is very good, right next to St Peter Church. All the main attractions in the old town are within walking distance. Clean, large bathroom, comfortable bed (average pillows), very quiet at night. No elevator. Very good service, free luggage storage, room can be checked in in advance, and the Cruffins dessert shop next to it is good. Recommended to go to Rock Cafe at night! If not, just go there.

Staff are friendly and forthcoming. Rooms are well cleaned and tidy. I asked to change the room, because the aircon seemed a bit noisy, and got it changed immediately, no questions asked, to a quieter room. The breakfast was excellent, too -- with some Latvian dishes, e.g. ”shproty” (sprat).

I had an excellent stay at this hotel! The rooms were large and spotlessly clean, the staff was exceptionally welcoming and helpful, and the location was ideal for city exploration. The amenities, such as the pool and fitness center, were outstanding. I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant and comfortable stay, Ms Inga and Madam Agneta are the best receptionists that I have ever seen in life, thank you!

The highlight of my stay was the incredibly comfortable bed.I woke up feeling refreshed and ready to explore the city. The location of the hotel is perfect, with easy access to popular attractions, restaurants, and public transportation. Whether you're there for business or leisure, the convenience of being in such a central spot is unbeatable. The breakfast buffet was also great. The staff were also attentive and helpful, making sure all my needs were met. Overall, I highly recommend the Metropole for anyone looking for a blend of comfort and prime location.

Magnificent Elegant hotel. The location is perfect to be able to tour the center of Riga by taking a walk. The reception is friendly and professional. Breakfast is highly recommended. Very comfortable rooms. A wonderful option to stay in Riga

Overall, I like it very much. The room is strategically located and can easily walk to the station and various attractions. The room is spacious and beautiful, and the facilities are very complete. The bed is a bit high and too soft for us. The shower place has a narrow glass blocking the side. After the shower, the bathroom floor will be wet, and there is a place for water, which is still wet all night. The water in the washbasin is also a bit blocked. Also, if the window is open, it is very noisy outside, but the sound insulation of the window is very good, it will be boring if the window is closed.
