The room and bathroom were very clean throughout our stay, thanks to the cleaning staff (we didn’t get the chance to meet them). Room was perfect for us; good mattress, fridge, kettle, toiletries and extras, including soft slippers. Hot water and heating all good. Location of the hotel is strategic, it’s on a street that goes towards the central train station and bus station, it’s near to public transport stops such as buses and trams, with plenty of cafes and restaurants around, even supermarkets. I can highly recommend this hotel.
Really love the hotel, super clean and strategically located in the heart of Old Town Riga! We can just simply walk around the old town at night, near to shopping mall and the hotel also provide paid parking space. Nice Breakfast as well. Would love to go there again someday.
Room was perfect, clean, spacious and well heated. The hotel location was perfect and the check in process is smooth. Only thing would be to add a hook in the bathroom for the towels.
Good hotel but little costly. Breakfast was good and had lots of of options for vegetarian. One weird thing though there is no free water, either drink tap water from bathroom or pay for it that too 5£ for water bottle. I didn’t like this, water is very basic thing and should be free after paying a good amount for hotel booking. Rest all was good.
Nice enough hotel for a few days.
The room was a bit small for 2 people and luggage.
Breakfast was fairly average
What we didn't like was the fact that the hotel thinks that they should decide what the temperature should be in our room. Our room was extremely hot!!
They disabled the ac setting and the only way to cool down the room was to have the window open. Not ideal when you are next to a train line.
Hotels like this need to state that the heating will be on and we have turned off the ac. It's a crazy mindset to have
I had a wonderful stay at Wellton Riverside Hotel in Riga. From the moment I arrived, the warm welcome made me feel at home. The customer service team was very helpful, assisting me with recommendations for the best attractions in Riga.
The hotel’s location is excellent—perfect for exploring the main sights of the city, and very convenient for reaching bus, train, and tram stations. One of the highlights was that the hotel helped us get the best price for a boat trip around the city when booking directly through them.
The rooms were in very good condition, clean and comfortable, which made the stay even more enjoyable.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Riga!
The owner did not contact me in time to provide code information and then texted me that there’ll be no hot water for the whole night and the morning. Its entirely unacceptable and its not what I paid for. Even though the premises are clean, the room was located in the basement with a window that looks onto entrance door and everyone who’s coming in is watching. There was no heating whatsoever either and I ended up sleeping fully clothed
The rooms in the old city, the stairs are narrow and steep, suitable for a small amount of luggage, otherwise it is too terrible. The room is still good, but the service attitude is too reduced. There is a problem when you check in. You can’t answer the phone and send an email. Trip.com also helped to contact, but I couldn’t contact it. Later, I found out that the staff (maybe the owner) lived next door.
Hotel staff was very welcoming at check in and provided a map of Old Riga and made suggestions for things to see and do. The room itself is clean and includes all necessary amenities. If you plan to do laundry, there’s a 4.50 euro charge to enter the laundry room and then you can use it as much as you want. Bring your own detergent!
Great location In the heart of Old Riga by the House of Blackheads. Walking distance within a lot of attractions , especially the Christmas market if you’re visiting in the winter time. It’s also around the corner from the famous Ala Pagrabs. It’s been full every time I went so I had to settle for a seat at the bar which is not very comfortable! Eating out can become expensive so I appreciated being near Rimi Express to buy drinks and snacks that I could put in the mini fridge.
My first time travellong solo and this hostel hasn't disappointed. Couldn't have asked for a better location than opposite the Riga Central station. I booked the place without being fully aware of the access to transport. The hostel also have a very stringent policies on shoes off in the social space and the bedroom (which as an East Asian I don't really object). Perhaps most surprising was the bathroom cleanliness, which a hostel in Edinburgh really disappointed me on. Finally the receptionist are truly eager to help with any burning questions.

Next time I come to Riga, I will still choose Radisson Blu Hotel. The breakfast is very rich. It is worth recommending. Muah 😘
GGuest UserAn extraordinary building ; one of the most architecturally impressive hotels in which I can remember staying, with wonderfully helpful staff and a location that can not be bettered -- with a commendable breakfast. Five stars ! But then . . .
Beautifully configured and equipped rooms but, constraints on urban buildings being what they are, and the architects having elected a stunning central skylit air- and light-well, our room, at least, had no window. Where was one to be placed, after all ? The air-conditioning worked well, but truly fresh air was not available.
The housekeeping staff had neglected the bathroom attached to the room that we used. Hair, a cotton-tipped applicator stick, and -- simply -- dirt were on the tiles. This can happen. It was very different from the rest of the experience of the stay. But there it was.
Have a look around when you check in. Ask for a repeat cleaning of your room if you think one is necessary. Enjoy your stay.
AAykut Ali TurcanThe hotel's location is very central, the reception staff is friendly and polite. Breakfast is adequate and varied. The rooms are clean, there is a kettle, and the bed is comfortable. If I come back, I will stay at the same hotel again. You can leave your luggage free of charge after checking out and explore.
LLAGO ALVAREZHotel muy bien ubicado, limpio, moderno y muy bonito. Las habitaciones muy limpias y cómodas, todo nuevo. El personal de la recepción un poco secos pero correctos.
GGuest UserI recently stayed at this hotel for my birthday, and it was a wonderful experience. We were upgraded to a room with an old town view, which was truly stunning. Additionally, they offered us complimentary spa entrance after checkout, which was a delightful bonus.
The room itself was clean, nicely decorated, and comfortable, situated on the 19th floor with an amazing view. The spa was also impressive—spacious, clean, and well-maintained. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and highly recommend this hotel for its excellent service and amenities.
BBeebeHotel is great and in a good location, right in the centre of old town. The staff are very friendly and very knowledgable about the area. One staff member called Lev is especially helpful, knows a lot of history about Latvia / where to visit and very professional. Hotel has great character and nice breakfast, with lovely breakfast dining room. I’ve heard the restaurant is also great, but we didn’t get time to go with such a short visit. Would definitely stay again.
SStephen the Solo guyAn honest review from an British point of view. Location is great, noisy on a weekend if you go to bed before midnight. Beds in the room are very low to the ground with pillows that are awful very lumpy. thin duvets which are ideal in the summer. Breakfast is great. You have to book the Spa if you want to use it at an additional fee 18 euro I believe, I tried three times to say it was full? They admit last customer at 7pm but the Spa is open until 9pm. Over all I would compare the hotel to a Travel Lodge in UK certainly not 4 star high standard. Staff need to learn on how to smile it goes a long way for poor service.
GGuest UserLovely hotel, clean, off road parking. Friendly staff. Asked for coffee sachets in the room, they never arrived after being promised twice that they would be sent up. Dinner was awful, menus not clear as to what was on offer. Buffett breakfast, lots of choice.
