We are in Rimini Marina center area of large hotels, we are on one side in Viale Vespucci with its nice shops and on the other on the promenade by the sea. We are at the Mercure Artis modern hotel located in Viale Vespucci. We took advantage of a room with a view very spacious sea, clean with a very fast internet connection. The hotel offers a stay and a rich and abundant breakfast with many choices. A paid garage but you know the difficulty of parking the car in that area. The staff is always present and kind.

Overall, I was a little surprised by the overall very good rating of this hotel. The large room with a comfortable bed, fridge and tea and coffee making facilities was positive. There was a very good and extensive breakfast buffet. The beach and many restaurants/shops are in the immediate vicinity. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The fitness room was also fully functional but poorly equipped. We didn't like the fact that it was very noisy, as the room was on the main road (even though the hotel - like most in Rimini - is on the beach promenade) and the soundproofing of the room was poor overall (background noise from the hallway and other rooms is very noticeable). The hotel is also clearly showing its age, there were clear signs of wear and tear (dirty walls, dissolving seals, defective floors in the bathroom, etc.). Curious: The (small) pool was built towards the front of the street. Tip: You can park your car on the street south of Viale Tripoli for free.
