Gee Tatt, Muin and Osman were excellent hosts. They were welcoming, friendly and attentive.
We really enjoyed interacting with the orang asli that lived in the area. Muin demonstrated to us how they used blowpipes and traps to hunt. It was a very enlightening and educational experience.
Coming from a very hectic and stressful city environment, the soothing sounds of the waterfall and nature really helped to refresh us.
We enjoyed the different varieties of breakfast every morning. They brought in different types of local food for us to try. On the first morning it was Roti Canai, followed by curry puffs and kueh. And finally Nasi Lemak. All were delicious.
As the location of the inn is not near any outside eating places, we chose to order the native dinner each night. We enjoyed the grilled chicken and fish. The portions were very generous too.
The highlight of the stay for us was definitely the waterfall and stream. Taking a dip in the cool and clean waters was such a unique experience.
The room itself was comfortable and cooling. There are multiple power points in the room, which we appreciated. We opted to pay more to get the room with the attached bathroom, for convenience.
Overall, it was a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Nature lovers will really appreciate this place.
