Best Hotels near Assembly of God, Rio De Janeiro

　2020年３月に5泊しました。空港からホテルまでタクシー・車以外の交通手段はありません。空港のarrivalで雲助タクシーに引っかかって、BRL280を払って乗ってしまいました（通常のタクシー料金はBRL100~120）。しかも交通事情が悪く、1時間半はかかります。特に夕方の時間帯は渋滞がひどく、夜７時発フライトの荷物チェックインの締め切り時間を過ぎてしまって、改めて当日片道航空券を買い直す羽目に。GIG-TYO間でUSD5800もかかってしまい散財しました。皆さま、余裕を持って行動されることをお薦めします。 　ホテルはビーチ沿いにあり、屋上にジムとプールがあります。屋上からの眺めと同様、窓からも景色が良くて堪能しました（朝日の写真参照）。部屋は広くありませんが十分でした。清掃も行き届いておりましたが、safety boxの不具合で、毎日、担当係の人を呼ぶ羽目になりました。気さくに来てくれて、友達になりました。シャワーの出具合も天井からの場合は良かったですが、ハンドタイプからの出具合は悪かったです。夜間は道沿いですが静かで、ベッドの寝心地も良かったです。TV は地元ローカル局と、BBC, CNN, スペインなどがメインで日本語放送はありません。朝食は写真の通り豊富でした。自分で作るジューサーもありますので、お好みの味で飲めます（写真参照）。ホテル前がビーチになっています。また徒歩圏内にスーパーもありますので、飲み物やテイクアウト食料が買えて便利です。またTaxiで10分位乗ると、Olegario Maciel Av.沿いにブティック、レストラン、銀行などが立ち並び、夜は楽しめました。ホテルのスタッフは皆さん親切で、ツアーの予約やホテル周辺の案内など、また雑談にも気軽に応じてくれていい人たちばかりでした。Rioは見どころが多く、魅力たっぷりです（写真参照）。次回は散財しないように注意して、再訪したいと思います。 　I visited on March 2020 and stayed at 5 nights. This hotel is built at ocean front. So, short distance walk to beach is very convenient. Room is very clean in spite of a little bit small, and very comfortable with quiet at night. Breakfast is very delicious with many items. All staff is very kindly person with good speaking in English. The distance is far from the airport and take a long time due to the traffic jam. Therefore, it is necessary you have to have a enough time.

The worst managed hotel! As a so well located hotel, with proper facilities, can give so bad service??? Breakfast is an invitation to start bad day! Not for scarce, super abundant but of poor quality, you lack love in preparation! It must be the only hotel in the world that the passenger must ask in reception to clean his room and make his bed!!!! TODDAGES!!!! AND THEN FORGET!!! The bad humor and bad working climate “respirates” among employees! The hotel is very helpful and helpful.

Positive Great Location, you are relatively close to everything in walking distance. There is a pharmacy next door, as well as a bakery that has outstanding quality. The rooms are clean and spacious. One of the big pros for me is that there are no carpets, which is a big plus. It avoids any unpleasant smells. Negative Unfortunately, there are a lot more negative comments rather than positive ones. My family and I usually stay at the Grand Hyatt, but due to Covid-19, the hotel was temporarily closed. We were left with no other option but to give this hotel a try. I want to emphasize that this hotel has the potential to be a 4 or 5-star hotel if adjustments are made. Nonetheless, this hotel should be a 3 star. On the first day of arrival, we had wifi. However, on the 2 day of our stay, we no longer had wifi. We contacted the reception desk, and the girls in counter said they were having issues with their wifi due to their guest capacity?!?!?!?!?!?! really? This is a hotel that shouldn't even be an issue. We are in 2020 in 2020 even McDonalds has a reliable WIFI however, Windsor Marapendi did not. After a few days the ”Partial Wifi” was back up, I mean partial because the wifi was only available in the lobby. Just writing this review baffles me with their lack of proper and basic preparation and administration. Wifi was not available during our entire 9-day stay. We stayed on the 13th floor, and again I repeat no wifi in the room. I had to go down to the lobby so I could log in to my laptop to work. How inconvenient and above all this, not one apology and acknowledgment of their lack of proper planning from the hotel, and they didn't even move a finger to make matters right with this nuisance. There was a lack of responsibility and care from the hotel. All they would say is that they are working on it. The hotel charges for the use of an adapter. It's 50 real. Although it's nothing if you convert it to USD, all hotels allow you to borrow an adapter if needed. Especially one that has no wifi. (forgive me, but I can't get over this wifi issue) Breakfast is free, which is a nice thing (especially for a hotel with no wifi), but it's mediocre, your best off going out for breakfast you will have a much better experience. Blowdryer is obsolete. Suppose you want to dry your hair, good luck. Bring your blowdryer. In my case, I had to go out and buy one during my stay. The Reception desk crew needs a complete revamp on professionalism and Customer Service. If you are trying to be a high-end hotel ( Which this hotel is not), Customer service is everything you guest needs to feel welcomed and feel like their needs is cared for regardless of how little or big their needs are. Windsor Marapendi, you have great potential if the criticism is taken and executed for them not to happen again in the future with other guests. You need major improvement. Hotel without infamy or praise central location in the very dirty neighborhood of Lapa....decent breakfast....single beds quite comfortable...pillows too high and with no alternative to having a lower one...short darkened curtains at 6am morning and already light... swimming pool on the top floor too small given the 13 floors of the hotel and therefore with a lot of people

I stayed in the hotel for the commitment I had because it was close. As it was one night only, I chose to book. The room was very dirty, sabble paper open in the pier, all dirty. 2 towels, 1 was acceptable and the other was completely swept and damaged. I put it on the floor because I had no courage to use it. The bed is horrible and noisy, and the dressers too. Have you seen a short shirt? Yes, it was so much to cover up to half the body and thinnerly impossible. I had nothing but that shirt to cover. Summary: I didn't sleep anything, super discomfortable. It's all about all the rooms, bad clothing. Coffee is half mouth, but in any case I've seen worse. The only positive point is that the reception official called ”D”. When we arrived at the hotel, we were surprised by the information that the system was out of the air and would take a little, then the same offered us 2 courtesy drinks for the event. The only thing I liked at the hotel, but you're only reserved in the last case if you don't want to get angry.

Hotel with many passengers and therefore very noisy, all the noise entered the room. Late check-in. The room key/card would not get the room, three times I had to go to the front desk until the key worked. The terrace and the pool are very small. It's not an ugly hotel, but...

Well located hotel. We were upgraded to a sea view room facing the sea. We should have had a side sea view. Only shame was that we had the antennas located on the roof of the building in front of the room's balcony. We nevertheless had a view of Rio (Botafogo), the Pao d Acucar, the beaches of Niterói, we were close to MAC (Museum of Contemporary Art) After a very hot day, we really enjoyed the heated swimming pool with a jacuzzi. Breakfast was very good. I recommend this hotel.

Carlos my breakfast server always makes my morning start great. He is always on time and always makes sure I have everything I need. He speaks very good English. This is my second time to stay here for a week quaranteen and I have had him the majority of both visits.

I only have positive words for the stay at Novotel Leme. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The rooms are very nice, the service is great, breakfast is delicious, versatile and extensive, the rooftop bar Sky Leme is a very nice place with a magnificent view and a nice pool. I appreciated the cocktails. So many thanks to all the staff to make our stay a great experience every day! Special thanks to Vicente for his friendly attention.

I arrived way too early for check in but reception was so welcoming, they offered me my welcome drink and accommodated my early check in request and got me a room a floor beneath the rooftop pool and bar! Which meant I was a flight of stairs away from the captivating views of Copacobana Beach and direct pool access. Made it up to my room right as the sun was peeking to rise and captured my first beautiful priceless moment in Rio de Janeiro! Everything about this hotel is premiere! The service is impeccable and any complaints or issues are dealt with right away. The concierge staff is always readily available for advise on things to do or places to eat depending on your tastes and acquiring bookings for activities for non Portuguese speakers like myself was effortless! Breakfasts are well attended to and their spread is admirably top notch! Rooftop bar staff are very efficient and courteous as well! Just top notch everything! This hotel is so worth the long review because of how everything is executed by them! They truly deserve their five star rating and there is no doubt in my mind that when I come back to Rio, I’ll definitely choose Miramar by Windsor Copacobana!
