Great place for relaxation, until the evening, when all you can hear is the thudding of bass from nearby bars and hostels. Not sure if this is just the weekend, as it was awful on a Saturday night. We kept thinking it would be shut off, but the hours ticked by and it wasn’t until 5.45am did I finally manage some sleep. Ruined the place for me, so much nature around, yet all you can hear is crappy dance music. Other than that, it’s a great little place. Food is good, pool area is fine - although loungers are limited. Rooms are great, right on the water. If you don’t mind noise (or perhaps go in the week), it’s a great find.

We lucked out with a waterfront cabin with its incredible sunrise views! We loved this resort - relaxing bar, good food, nice pool and on-site hiking trails. We wish we could have stayed one more day to fully appreciate the amenities. The only downside was the constant noise of trucks using their airbrakes on the nearby bridge - definitely bring earplugs for a decent night's sleep!

Out of the way, nice little jungle retreat with private cabins. We enjoyed our stay here and our cabin was simple and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed the hike to lookout point. Grilled cheese for lunch was great but food served at dinner was horrible. I would return for unique lodging and recommend to others.

We stopped here as part of our G Adventures tour for one night. Lunch was pre booked before we arrived and the salad was great. We had the steak for dinner but it was well done and very dry. The pool was a nice area. The room was a stand alone wooden cabin. We had to walk over a bridge where there was stagnant water so take plenty of mosquito spray etc. Room was basic but clean, did smell a little musty. I enjoyed the breakfast which was home made yogurt with fruit. The bill for lunch, dinner, breakfast, 2 cocktails and beers was very reasonable by English standards. WiFi was available at reception only.

Stayed here as part of our g adventures tour. The rooms are very basic. Walls exceptionally thin. Lovely location with nice views out to the river. WiFi strong at reception and pool area. Restaurant and bar shut for festive period. Staff who were on site were very helpful.

It's a shame that such a nice place with such friendly people can be totally perverted by devastatingly loud music from night clubs lining the shore near the bridge. I can't believe that it is legal to make so much noise at night. Paradise lost....

Small bungalows on stilts, spread across the vegetation and accessed by a suspension bridge. The front of the development is located on the pier, with a constant movement of boats that makes the structure rock. The pool surrounded by trees is next to the dining spaces. The entire environment is spectacular, giving the feeling that we are immersed in the jungle. The cabins, all made of wood, with 2 beds, a bench and a table, are very simple, as are the bathrooms with a shower, toilet and a tiny sink. There is no TV or internet. Breakfasts could be a little more diverse and plentiful.

I really liked this place, my biggest issue is the way that some of the foreign boat owners treat the locals tourists, while they are docked on the hotel premises and I am sure they are paying some decent money to be there. If they have any issues they should bring that up to their staff, instead of blocking the walkways that give access to their cabins. Follow up to the owner’s response; Thank you for taking the time to respond to my review; I don’t think I explained myself well; this gentleman whose picture I am posting; he blocked the walkway to my cabin, which was located on the side of were their boats dock; some one had left a private boat on the public dock and our boat had no choice but to pick us up on the side were the private boats are. This was the fault of your staff for not having anyone removed that boat that was blocking the public one. Every one from our tour was quiet and were not rude; when I was heading back to our cabin, I asked the gentleman whose picture I am posting, that he should not be blocking the the pathway with a chair and other things, that that was dangerous and that anyone could trip and hurt themselves. He turned his back to me and said this was not his problem. Then he waved his hand in a dismissive way. But he had no right to do this. I am sure some of those guests are nice people, but they should respect locals. I am sorry after your response I will be bringing my review to two stars. Since you stated that they are not paying that much a month.
