This was my 2nd stay within a month at a Drury hotel(Albuquerque and Las Cruces NM), and is the best I've experienced with a supportive but soft bed(what I would call Medium Firm) and soft, airy pillows, which is #1 for me when I travel. The rooms are always clean and no smoke smells anywhere. The only thing I would like to see change is replace those 50-year old design noisy in-room air conditioners with a modern mini split unit with real air filtration. In a post-covid world, the future is hotels that are clean and bio-safe.

We booked a King suite for 2 adults and 1 child and were put in the “Tower” area Rm#391 of the Hotel. The parking lot for this area sits behind a vacant commercial building that has some sketchy looking people hanging around, Drugs? ************? Homeless? were our first thoughts, the chain link fence that divides the properties is leaning over in spots giving the appearance that it has been climbed over several times and there appeared to be several vagrants in the area on the streets. We booked here for the use of the hottub which was not working and was told that the jets quit working the night before, which I have my doubts as this property is in desperate need of attention from the maintenance department. The outdoor lock of the tower building that you need your key card to enter is damaged and loosly hanging on the wall and the key card would not open it. Upon not being able to enter and reporting to the front desk they were already aware and said that it can be very temperamental. So we had to enter through the lobby and walk through “the maze” to get to our room. The walls throughout the property have several areas that need attention to cover the damaged paint that lend to the appearance of an old, tired, run down hotel. The sheets on the bed appeared clean. But the room itself needs attention. The bathroom ceiling was badly water damaged with pieces hanging down that was covered up with paint and deep scratches on the wall above the toilet. The corners of the floor in the bathroom need attention as they are collecting dirt and debris. The carpet in the bedroom is very old, loose and rippled creating a tripping hazard. The window sheers had two large vertical tears and several burn holes. The wall paper is separating in several areas and peeling away from the wall most notably in the upper corner of the bedroom. There were no visible outlets or charging stations near the bed. While searching for an outlet for my husband’s bi-pap machine we accidentally pulled the the very heavy oversized headboard off the wall thinking it would move with the bed. The headboard was only attached with two small screws that were easily pulled out of the wall. We immediately called the front desk to alert them of the accident. (Apparantly we’re not getting back the $100 deposit) The kitchenette area of the suite has very worn out cabinets, the vinyl flooring sounded and felt sticky when walking on it. There was a table in the suite but no chairs to sit at. There was no bedding or pillows in the closet for the sofa bed (we fell asleep and our 17yo daughter didn’t realize she could open the sofa bed even though she was told; but a pillow and bedding in the closet would have helped. Overall very dissapointed with the 1 night accomodations at the “Resort” rate of $463 +$100 deposit. This property appears to be an old Holiday Inn Suites that had some new paint slapped on it and they called it good. Would not recommend this property and will NEVER stay here a

I really appreciated the staff , real problem solvers and genuinely nice people. One even helped me find a less expensive place to stay to fit my budget. Complimentary coffee ( varied options) , water dispenser in lobby, and a fantastic very large tv in the bedroom were some draw cards. I could use my Netflix membership easily . I didn’t get the included breakfast as I booked through a third party so explore booking direct . The breakfast sounded good:) . It certainly offers a far nicer ambience than the less expensive place I relocated to . Their Nice carefully picked staff make a big difference. They should all be complimented ! :)

GGuest UserI reserved a day room (8am-5pm). On check in, the person at the front desk had no idea what a day room was. After explaining it for or five times, she said nothing was available. Then she asked me to wait while she looked into it. I then waited while she checked out 10 or 12 people because no one else was on duty and the manager unreachable. Then she found a room she could give me but couldn’t complete the check in and I had to wait again. Eventually the manager strolled in to work at 9:30 am and supervised the check in (although she didn’t apologize or indeed say anything to me), and I got into the room by 9:40. But here’s the thing: I was attending a day long conference online, which is why I reserved a hotel room, and had missed roughly two hours of it. Then on top of it all, the sign about the restaurant hours says breakfast ends at 11 am on the weekends. I went down during my conference break at 10:40 am and it was closed. I went back to my room and called twice before reaching someone who said “that’s a pre-COVID sign”. So you have had two years to change it and haven’t? I booked a hotel room for my online conference partly so that I wouldn’t have to leave the premises to eat as the lunch break was short. At no point was I informed of earlier hours. Then once in the room the air conditioner did not work and it was 76 degrees the whole time. A total disaster.

GGuest UserMy uncle made the reservations for us. We didn't realize it was also a place where people lived (I think). But nonetheless, we didn't have any complaints. Our room was clean even though it was the first room to the left and the ice machine wasn't too far from it. We were able to watch good movie channels so we didn't hear a thing. I took a bath in a very clean bathroom with hot running water. The people outside the motel were a little iffy. The breakfast was very good with waffles and cinnamon rolls, orange juice, coffee, cereal, etc.

Nnurse281619The hotel itself was nice, clean and in a good location (we thought). However, the family directly above us obviously had children who ran and jumped all day and night. Night time was even worse, sounded like a zoo up there. I've never experienced anything like it during any hotel stay, ever. Just horrible. It was so bad, even my seven year old son was annoyed and asked if there was anything that could be done. My husband and I phoned in several complaints esp at night, as we were there for a funeral and had to be up very early in the morning. At first we were told it would be taken care of and that it was unacceptable. Then my husband was told that they cannot control people's children. I understand about them being children, however, they should be able to control their ADULT guests and what they allow! So because they allowed their kids to bring that amount noise and disturbance, other guests HAD to suffer? By the time we were offered to move rooms, our stay was almost over. Also, apparently there was more than one ”disturbance” in which people were either drunk or high and police had to be called. The room next door to us had guests that smoked **** the entire time we were there. For this reason, I cannot offer more than two stars.

We stayed here on 2 separate occasions in September and had no trouble like the other reviews. We did book through the Stay America website and they do put a hold of $100 on your credit card which was refunded about 10 days after we checked out. The room is a regular size hotel room with a kitchen in the entryway. The bed, climate control, and kitchen all worked satisfactorily. There are no hangers in the closet or luggage racks. One has to ask for kitchenware and the rooms are not cleaned for stayovers. We knew all this information in advance, having stayed at another Stay America in Western Pennsylvania. Our aim was to keep out of the breakfast room during the COVID era; this place enabled us to make our own breakfast and eat in the room. There is a desk and chair and one of the rooms had no easy chair. We could also eat leftovers from restaurants, as they all serve plenty of food. There is an indoor mask mandate here, and people obeyed it.
