The end of May 2021, I booked a reservation through ******* for one night at this hotel. I specifically booked non-smoking. It was accepted and confirmed for a non-smoking room. I even called to verify that my room would be a non-smoking room and that I would be arriving late. They assured me that would be fine. When I arrived at the hotel, a little past 11pm, the employee at the desk told me that she gave my non-smoking room to someone else and claimed that she had no other room available except for a smoking room. She gave no explanation for giving away my non-smoking room, but said she was willing to give me a discount for a smoking room. By this time, it was past midnight and I had no choice but to stay there. When I went into my smoking room, I discovered it was dirty and had not been cleaned up since the last guest occupied it. The towels, floor, bed linens were all dirty. Cigarette butts were in the bathtub. I have a picture to prove this. She said that this was all she had, take it or leave it and did not offer to clean it up. I had no choice but to stay and slept on the dirty bed in my clothes. The next morning, the same employee was still at the desk and I asked for a full refund. She said that someone would contact me, but no one ever contacted me. This was the worst experience I have ever had with any hotel in my life.
