"They had limited information about Businesses that delivered food in the area, so we grabbed a couple of the flyers they had. One was Emilio's pizza, which was their only flyer for pizza. We ended up ordering it and they charged an $8 delivery fee, and $25 for a large pizza, and other taxes, ended up being $40 for a pizza that turned out the size of a normal medium pizza and tasted like frozen pizza you buy at the supermarket. It was nasty and we didn't even eat it. Also, we asked to check in an hour and a half early, I am in a wheelchair and I was tired, they wanted to charge us $80, so we declined, being the room was already $128.00."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in downtown Roanoke at this beautiful new property. Many of the original details of this massive old bank have been preserved and add to the charm. Even though renovations aren’t completed yet, our stay was not affected. The rooms are very spacious and spotlessly clean, with high end linens and toiletries. The staff we met were extremely nice and professional. We were steps away from many different eateries, nightlife, and shops. We were greeted with a welcome basket of goodies and a handwritten note from the staff, which was a very special touch. Congratulations to the GM, Johnie, and the whole staff for opening such a unique addition to downtown Roanoke. We look forward to returning soon and trying out the restaurant and event venue!"

"Absolutely terrible, like staying in a slum in Curry Country. The entire room reeked, not a single piece of furniture was clean, all the fabrics were greasy and stained—a truly awful experience! The floor outside the room was covered in animal excrement, and the carpet in the room was torn and filthy! We demand the cancellation of this hotel's operating license!"

"I am giving this hotel five stars even though the TV in the bedroom didn't work and that wasn't great. I was all settled in and didn't want to get dressed and have someone come in to try and fix it. Other than that, the hotel is great. The room was really nice, clean and well laid out. Even had a fireplace. I would definitely go back."
