Courtyard by Marriott Rockville

Stay here often when in town on business and always have had a good experience.

Staff went above and beyond. Super friendly and accomodating.

The hotel is centrally located within Rockville and very close to the highway. The place is somewhat dated and is the original style of Courtyard, with the courtyard in the center. It appears to have been renovated not too long ago, so it’s decent on the inside. The room was nicely done and comfortable and the room’s bathroom operated fine. The staff was friendly. Overall, we had a nice stay here for the weekend. ** The Bistro (in the lobby) ** Several of us were staying here for the weekend, and on our first morning we stopped in to this Bistro for coffee only to have a long wait and some customer service issues. That issue was reported to the manager and they did a nice job replying and addressing it – Thanks! Fast forward to that evening… when we came back from the funeral we spent the day at… We had 3 rooms of family here and also family staying in 3 rooms at the Hilton nearby who wanted to have nightcaps and we planned on changing clothes and heading out, but when we got back, we noticed a bartender there and it was completely dead, so we decided to just stay there. The seating areas for this Bistro are very nice and have some tucked away areas, where all our family could gather. They came over from their Hilton and we had drinks that evening in the Bistro Bar and the bartender was VERY helpful, VERY friendly, and VERY accommodating!! He wasn’t very quick at mixing cocktails, but he was friendly and so much better than the lady working the morning shift!! Lastly… I stopped in Sunday morning for 2 cups of coffee and the young lady (a different one from the day before) who was working the counter was VERY helpful, friendly, and efficient! I was in and out quickly and since she was friendly, I also ordered a pasty and she even offered to heat it up for me. Great service from her and the guy the night before, not sure why the lady working Saturday morning couldn’t be the same. Anyway… If staying at this hotel, hopefully you get good service… it’s available, just have to get the right person to help you out.

Nice room, excellant mattress, tastful decor. One elevator for the whole hotel, and many rooms are far from elevator and lobby. Staff is not restocking coffee and tea. When asked the answer was "don't have enough ". Shower is very high, no flexibility. Why no hand held?!! Major inconvenience. AC had what lookrd like mold . My allergy raged.

Stayed here for a youth sports weekend. The hotel staff was very professional - friendly - customer service oriented. The room was well kept and extremely clean. Room service each day was great. Location of the hotel is fantastic - near range of retail and restaurants. Would recommend staying here - and would definitely stay here myself again.

Check in was easy, staff friendly, hotel was clean.

Can’t say enough about the kindness , efficiency and helpfulness of the staff . Special mention to Judy from the front desk . So kind, warm and utterly professional !!! This was our fifth stay there this year since my apartment is being restored . The whole staff made us feel at home ! Thank you guys !!! Thank you , Judy !!! See you next time !!! The hotel is very convenient to area business, restaurants, and the highway. The hotel staff are very pleasant and helpful. The cleanliness and comfort of the rooms is very good.
