The room is a bit small and the facilities are a bit old, but the overall service and experience are good! It's a pity that there is no swimming pool! The price-performance ratio is good, the hotel is in a good location, and the service staff is of good quality!

Been staying all my previous visits to Rome at the International Spanish Stairs, this time at this new excellent location. Rooms are larger, very clean & bed Lenin are changed daily with a evening check, We also highly enjoyed Tuesday’s May 27, drinks at Charlie’s roof top. Thank you for a great stay

Great experience. Staff super polite and professional. The chief concierge Christian managed to find a table for us without reservation on the busiest night of the week at one of the busiest restaurant in the world where you normally need to book weeks in advance. New structure super clean. We were welcomed with a nice bottle of wine on arrival. We will definitely be back!

I am generally speaking an enthusiast of InterContinental hotels and like to try them all over the world when I can. I have been looking forward to trying out this new location in Rome and it was definitely a great experience. First of all, I only stayed one night but I felt like that allowed me enough time to be able to "get to know" the hotel for the most part. As an InterContinental Platinum Ambassador (not as special as it sounds lol) we were given a very generous upgrade which was highly appreciated. Actually, better than almost all of the other InterContinental's I have stayed at (and it's been over two dozen) with the exception of maybe the Paris LeGrand. So right there I was very pleased. The hotel is very attractive in terms of decor, rather "small" which lends a boutique-feeling and with a location that is right there in central Rome. Obviously prices are going to be competitive with other 5-star hotels in Rome so it wasn't cheap--that's for sure. Cleanliness was excellent, the windows did an amazing job of blocking outside noise (which is good as it's on a very busy street), and there was turn down service--which I consider a true marker of an actual five star hotel. (And something that unfortunately most InterContinental hotels no longer offer based on my experience.) Hotel employees were uniformly pleasant--especially the nice lady who checked us in and the young Polish/Italian man with glasses who worked out front greeting guests and helping them out of their car. (Wish I remembered their names!) The on-site restaurant, Scarpetta NYC, was also very good for both dinner and breakfast. (Although a tad too dark--I know they're going for a "mood" but you can barely see in there! Next time I am in Rome I would happily stay here at the InterContinental and would definitely recommend it to others looking for a very comfortable "oasis" in an otherwise very hectic city.

My stay at the Intercontinental Rome Hotel was nothing short of exceptional, thanks in large part to the outstanding service provided by Cristina, the Customer Relations Manager. From the moment I arrived, Cristina went above and beyond to ensure that my experience was unforgettable. Her attention to detail and personalized care truly made me feel like a valued guest. The hotel itself exuded elegance and charm, with beautifully appointed rooms and stunning views of the city. The amenities were top-notch, and every aspect of my stay was meticulously thought out. Cristina's warmth and professionalism were evident in every interaction, whether she was assisting with dining recommendations, arranging transportation, or simply ensuring that my needs were met. Her dedication to customer satisfaction truly set the Intercontinental Rome Hotel apart. Overall, my experience at the Intercontinental Rome Hotel was nothing short of exceptional, thanks in no small part to Cristina's outstanding hospitality. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, and I look forward to returning soon. Grazie mille, Cristina, for making my stay truly unforgettable!

This is an incredibly nice hotel; the staff was wonderful, and the location is great. From check in, to the roof top bar, to breakfast, everyone we encountered was helpful courteous and professional. Most notably, Cristina, in guest relations, was phenomenal and took personal interest and care in ensuring that my family started off our Italia trip in the most impressive way. Beautiful lobby, very comfortable and classy rooms and attentive staff. Mille Grazie!

IHG Diamond Ambassador here, I stay at a lot of Intercontinetals throughout the year. This review covers my recent 3 night stay in Rome. I really wanted to love this hotel. For one, the staff are all incredibly hospitable and lovely. Secondly the hotel is really well situated and beautifully decorated. But it misses the mark on the most important criteria - sleep quality. It is by far the noisiest hotel I have stayed at in the past year. Absurdly so. 1) with the millions that must have gone into the renovation, and being located on a major road, it’s incredible how poor the exterior facing doors/windows are. You can literally hear every car drive by, not to mention CONSTANT buses, sirens, motorcycles. Zero soundproofing. Major design fail. 2) the fire doors to the rooms are very thick and heavy. Which means every time someone enters or leave's their room, the door slams shut. To the extent that my room shook every time someone on the floor above, below or on my floor come or left. On one knight this happened at least ~80 times. 3) the house keeping team does a very thorough job, you can hear the vacuums and furniture being moved 3 doors down Honestly, at this price point, this is a major problem. Good luck trying to get any sleep or work from the room. As much as it pains me to say, I will not be staying here again. Which is a shame, because everything else was great.
