A good little hotel to stay in when visiting Rome. A great location meaning many of the major tourist attractions are walkable and for those further away, the subway and train station is close to the hotel.
The room was clean and a very good size for a family.
One area they could improve upon is breakfast. It is very basic.
If you are looking for a no frills hotel within walking distance to the Colloseum etc., then this place fits the bill.

Les photos du site ne représentent en rien la réalité ! C’est propre oui, les gens sont sympathiques oui. Le déjeuner est ok. C’est tout ! Un impression de s’être fait avoir pas l’fun. La déco est épouvantable. Petits lits, couvre lits qui traînent par terre. La terrasse est RIDICULE! C’est un bloc appartement avec des chambres et une cuisine. L’hôtel qui n’en n’est pas un.

Run away... Hotel well located but that's it! Damaged furniture, bedding to be reviewed: dug mattress, smells of rising sewers in the bathroom, toilet seat not suitable, breakfast with low-cost products, the tenant upstairs unbearable, noisy until midnight... and I pass....

It is the second time I have stayed in this comfortable B&B, few rooms, clean. Very kind staff, always available to satisfy every need. Breakfast in the room is very welcome. The convenient location for getting around the historic center and Termini station. Quiet area. Excellent value for money. Recommended!

Clean place, good service, friendly and accommodating staff. For what we paid for two nights it was a good experience. Clean room and bathroom, excellent breakfast in the room. A beautiful experience that if I ever return to Rome I already know where to call to look for a place to sleep.

The perfect location, about 15-20 minutes walk from all the important sites such as the Colosseum (Flavian Amphitheater), the Trevi Fountain or Piazza del Popolo. Very good attention, as well as the cleanliness of the rooms. The girl at the reception was very friendly and helped us with all our questions. It really is a great place to stay. We based our selection on ratings but assumed there was a management change at the accommodation because it did not meet any expectations. The breakfast is very poor and has no protein, only bread and jams. It does not have amenities, only bath gel. The room was very small and the bed squeaked, even a board came off while we were sleeping. The toilet seat didn't fit the toilet and I pinched my leg on it. The bathroom always smells very bad and although I don't think the hotel can remove the drain smell, it could control it better. The personnel is very friendly. We went with another couple who chose another hotel for the same price and their experience was not as bad as ours. The location is very good and the neighborhood is nice.

Great family friendly hotel with friendly staff. Thanks to Erika we felt very welcomed. We stayed with two kids and the room had additional single bed and also provided a cot bed for baby. The location of the hotel is great. It is close to the station, to the metro and to main sights.

What a perfect choice for our first visit to Rome! We had very good communications with Erika before we arrived, Good English skills and quick to respond to questions. We arrived at the Roma Termini station on the Leonardo Express from the airport and had an easy third of a mile walk with wheeled luggage to the Locanda. Erika was there to meet us and set us up in our room. The location is awesome. One block north is Via Nazionale which you can follow a half mile southwest to Trajans Column, Altare della Patria and the nearest entry area for the ancient forum ruins. To the northeast in about a quarter mile is the Reppublica Metro station where you can ride the subway to the Ottaviano station near the vatican. We walked from the Locanda to all the major sights, Pantheon, Trevi, Borghese Villa. I am 70 my wife 65. The location made our explorations very easy! When we left for Florence on the train we had another easy walk with wheeled luggage. Nearby restaurants were very nice. Our favorite was Antica Pizzeria Est Est Est. Nice, small family place, very close by. Get a "Pinsa" for something different. On the ground floor of the same building is Ristorante "Al Viminale" also great food. The Locanda provided continental breakfast was sufficient to get us going with hot Cappuccino, juice, fresh croissants, yogurt and toast and jam. Erica also arranged for a private driver to get us back to the airport at 4:30 in the morning. So, thank you Erica and Locanda al Viminale for making our first Rome visit so very nicer!
