The single room is really too small, and the hotel is a bit old. Fortunately, the hotel is conveniently located. It is a 10-minute walk to the Colosseum and a 15-minute walk to Plaza de España. Marco at the front desk is very warm and thoughtful.

This was our first trip to Europe and Rafael at the front desk was a great help. We quickly learned how to maneuver around the city through Rafael’s assistance. The location cannot be beat. The hotel was nice, clean and has a classic feel. We had a great stay!

Sehr klassisches Hotel, das sehr innenstadtnah, aber nicht mitten im Trubel ist. Die Zimmer (und wir hatten die einfachen) sind von der Größe komplett o.k., super sauber und Matratzen und Kissen sind super. Klimaanlage gibt es auch. Die Straße ist durch das geschlossene Fenster nur wenig zu hören. Um die Ecke ist eine große Bushaltestelle (Nazionale) und so 800m entfernt hält die Metro (Reppublica). Die gängigen Attraktionen (außer Vatikan) sind fußläufig problemlos erreichbar. Tabakladen mit Geldautomat gegenüber. Überall Restaurants, Cafés und Läden. Das Frühstück gewinnt keine Preise, ist aber solide und hat frischen Kuchen. Kaffee und Saft aus dem Automaten, aber nun ja. Dafür gibt es (für Italien nicht zwingend üblich) auch Rührei, Speck und so. Bonuspunkt: das Personal ist ultra nett, hilfsbereit und tut alles für einen.

What a wonderful hotel and great staff. walking distance to Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Coliseum. Jewish Ghetto and other areas in Rome. Staff was always ready to help any time needed. breakfast was great and the old fashioned elevator was a treat.

The location is perfect for a short trip to Rome. It is pet-friendly. A special shout out to the receptionist, Patrick, who helped us out so much with a situation that didn't concern him, yet, he was incredibly helpful. Thank you, Patrick, and thank you, Hotel Hiberia, for such a lovely stay
