The hotel is supposedly 4 stars (but in fact it doesn’t have any stars at all). The room was economy - ground floor, but in fact it turned out to be a damp basement that didn’t even seem to be ventilated. Mold and the smell of mustiness haunt even days later (there are slippers in the room where there are not even cheap rugs by the bed, and stupidly they didn’t even think about putting tiles. It’s good at least there was a “camel” blanket, although it should have been washed at least a century ago. The only one Joy it was a pretty good breakfast and a nice woman who spoke Russian, and smoothed out the impression of this place, so I’m ready to give 1.5 out of 5, not 0.

It's a nice and relaxing hotel, but it's because it's an aristocratic mansion. The rooms are old and small. The balcony is nice but if you want friendliness I would recommend another hotel. However, if you are a solo traveler and just want to see Rome, it is perfect

A fairly central lovely family hotel with very clean comfortable rooms. The staff are all very friendly and helpful offering information and advice on tours and restaurants. Breakfast served on the roof terrace is good and plentiful. Room 46 has a lovely outdoor, well furnished patio. A great place to sit sipping a chilled glass of wine while watching the sun go down. I would recommend the Farnese if you are visiting Rome A most enjoyable stay

The room was clean and air conditioned. The bathtub leaked water no matter how much we tried to position the glass that swung into you as you showered. Customer Service from front desk staff and breakfast waitress was excellent. The breakfast was okay. Most items were packaged cakes and croissants or canned fruit. Limited fresh fruit option including peaches, plums and cut watermelon. No glutine free bread/crackers. Breakfast did include eggs, bacon, cold cuts (that looked day old), pancakes, yogurt and cereal. The distance by foot was a little too far for our family. If you are okay with walking and outside the action and also not a breakfast person it'll be an okay place to stay.

Stayed here for 2 nights with my husband. Nice hotel in a great location. We could walk to all the popular attractions from the Hotel. Some nice bars and restaurants around too. Our room was adequate size with a large bathroom. Very clean and everything we needed. Comfortable bed. The reception staff were pleasant and helpful as was the owner. The breakfast was limited but ok.

We stayed for 2 nights at this beautiful place. Great location, walking distance to Vatican and Castel Sant Angelo. There is a subway station nearby if you prefer railway. The neighborhood was elegant and calm. Nice restaurants were available even later at night. Staff was super friendly. We didn't have to ask for anything because they were already provided. Especially Louis from reception was great! Breakfast was also nice with a beautiful view of Rome's historical roofs. Rooms were decorated in a historical fashion, comfy beds and enough space to move:) Free parking spot was extremely useful for us. The only thing I would hope is that it could be a little cheaper. Long story short, we surely recommend you this place as we will definitely revisit there in our next Rome trip.

What a mixed bag this was. It will be easier to point out what was good and what was not so good. The plusses: 1. Our 2nd floor room was spacious. And the bathroom was enormous by most hotel standards. 2. They offered daily housekeeping which was appreciated. 3. The room was clean. 4. The price was reasonable for the location. 5. The location is fantastic if you want access to the metro and bus system. Not so good: 1. We booked the daily breakfast option. On first glance, it looked like it would be great. But, the eggs were hard and cold. The pastries were piled together in one tray and a little stale. Things like juice were not regularly replenished. 2. I realize this is more of a European custom, but the A/C was not turned on in the hotel even though it was hot. When we opened the window at night to let in cool air it was noisy and the mosquitos attacked. Offering a fan would have been nice. 3. Interestingly, if you did not speak Italian (I try but it's not pretty) you were not offered an espresso or cappuccino when you came to breakfast. After seeing other guests getting espresso, the second morning I asked the woman in charge of the dining room for a cappuccino. She reluctantly made one for me. We stayed here 6 nights and she was here for 4 mornings. We got the cold shoulder every time from her. On our last morning, a young woman I had never seen before, greeted us and immediately asked if we wanted espresso! 3. They lock the front door occasionally. We came back one afternoon about 4:00 pm and there was a "closed" sign on the door. It was locked. We sat on the steps for about 5 minutes until the front desk person came back and unlocked it. Bathroom break? Another evening we were going to dinner at about 6:30 pm. The door was locked and we couldn't get out of the hotel. After a few minutes, the same desk person came back and unlocked it so we could leave. I was starting to look for a window to jump out in case of fire. I probably would not stay at this hotel again.

You have to renegotiate a deal you have had confirmed on line. They gave me the smallest version of two beds and a tiny balcony. Then they ask you 20€ for parking if parked in the hotel parking. The breakfast is not healthy because it has no vegetables or cut fruit and if you want fresh Orange juice it’s 4€ extra. The woman working in the breakfast terrace makes noise nonstop with washing dishes, pouring water, closing drawers… whatnot that I couldn’t focus on my reading. The place is very small so you can’t avoid it unless you shut her up but you can’t. Shower door is old and doesn’t seal so water exit to the floor and it’s no fun stepping on water after shower. They don’t change the sheets if you stay long unless you remove the sheets and put them on the floor. That’s what I did. They are not friendly at the desk. The only person nice is the new desk guy tall white who just joined them— my apologies I don’t know his name.

Five ⭐️ Stars. Amazing manager and staff. Quiet and friendly. Clean and well maintained. Close to all attractions and 2 min walk to Lepamto A1 metro and court. Been visiting this hotel very often prior to pandemic and made it my favorite place when visiting Rome. Love ❤️ it.

Decent if slightly outdated rooms. But they are clean with new mattress and clean sheets. I would recommend that the owner instruct staff to clean at the curb across the street from the the entry way. Rome is a notoriously neglected ,dirty city that gets worse every year. When I pull up in the car it is not nice to step out into garbage. The city isnt going to do it ,they never do so even though its not the hotels responsibiity they should take it upon themselves to make sure its clean. Also after staying at the hotel on 3 different occasions it would be nice for the hotel to waive the 2.50 euro for a bottled water.

Horrible stay and hotel doesn't meet its responsibilities. We stayed during a heat wave and the air conditioning didn't work and it took 2.5 hours to get hotel staff to come to the room. Staff acknowledged the heat was extreme and unbearable but they weren't able to help and they said there was no other room for us to stay in. We had pre-paid for two nights and so, given this situation, sought to get a refund for our unused second night stay that we hadn't used, but the hotel owner refused (and has never been available to talk with us or respond to a follow-up e-mail from us). We weren't going to stay another night when the temperatures were in the mid-90s and so we checked out. Beyond this, while there are some nice looking rooms in the pictures, we didn't get one. The room was tiny, with a cheap and old mattress that was very uncomfortable, and the chair in the room was a plastic chair that appeared to be a lawn chair. Hardly fitting for a 14th-century palace, sadly.

The stay was lovely. The room is chic and clean. Staffs were very helpful and professional. They can keep luggages for free before checking in and after checking out, so you can wander around the city without worries. We were lucky enough to meet the owner and her dog the morning before we left, and she let us pet and play with her dog . So adorable 🥰
