The short version: I loved staying here and would recommend it without hesitation. The long version: One of the best located hotels in Rome with direct, close views of the Pantheon. This is about as centrally located as you can be in Rome and perfect for exploring the entire historic centre, with many famous landmarks only a few minutes walk away. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and all staff that I spoke to were English-speaking. Despite being on a very busy square, the room was well soundproofed and lovely and quiet for sleeping. Breakfast was excellent and provided at a restaurant just a few steps from the front door of the hotel in a small square. It was a lovely place to sit outside in the sunshine and enjoy breakfast. You could have coffee, tea, orange juice, eggs & bacon, croissants, toast and other things. The room came with a welcome bottle of sparkling wine and a local mobile phone for use during your stay. We did not use it though as we had phones which could roam locally at a low cost. The room was spotlessly clean and well maintained. The hotel also has a small lounge to sit in if you need to kill some time before leaving for the airport. The hotel also are happy to store your bags if you have a few hours spare between checking out and needing to go to the airport. Overall, just a great experience and one I'd love to repeat.
