I highly recommend it, the breakfasts were fine, the service was nice, the only minus is the distance from the metro.

Undoubtedly a structure with an ancient charm of its own, however, this particularity must be treated with attention and not abandoned to itself. Mi dispiace sempre dover fare recensioni negative ma è assurdo che una stanza venga fatta pagare 100 euro che in realtà ne vale 10 di euro. L'hotel si trova in zona San Giovanni. Come sono arrivato alla reception prima situazione strana: mi è stato chiesto di saldare in anticipo la tassa di soggiorno ed il parcheggio, ma alla mia richiesta di avere la ricevuta mi hanno risposto che bisognava aspettare il giorno dopo perché avevano da fare altro. Ci può stare che venga richiesto il pagamento anticipato ma se avviene ciò bisogna mettere la ricevuta. Il mio era un voucher già saldato ed avevano la carta di credito. La cosa incresciosa è quando ho chiesto il cambio delle federe perché c erano capelli. Il tizio mi ha detto che era solo quindi mi ha dato due federe e mi ha detto di cambiarle da solo. Il bagno non ve lo racconto perché potete guardare le foto,ed avete la fortuna di non dover sentire la puzza. Possibile che solo perché siamo a Roma gli albergatori si possono permettere di fare pagare una stanza tanto senza nessun controllo?

We chose this hotel because it didn't look like a white washed premier Inn style hotel. It has character! The rooms are large with high ceilings. They are slightly worn but it didn't effect the use. The breakfast is a lovely European style spread. We went down a variety of times and always got a table. The reception staff were wonderful and the bar is open 24/7 should you need a drink. Our room had a balcony and it was wonderful to sit in the sun before a busy day. Although located in the city in the back rooms you cant hear traffic and look out into the countryside. There are many buses you can get into the centre and to all the tourist destinations. These are easy to catch and just require you to tap your card to pay.

Simple hotel with old facilities but everything clean and working. Large bathroom with a very tight shower but with good water flow. The location is good as there are bus and metro options very close by and you can reach the main attractions easily. The breakfast is basic but with enough items and there is a guten free option that you just have to ask for. The staff is very attentive, always willing to help.

The staff is ok but the lady who picks up breakfast is RUDE!! If, in capital letters, he slams all the plates, he ran us banging on the table because breakfast time was already passing.
