Sonder Testaccio

Very quick and helpful in giving me a room, in just an hour they had it ready for me, very courteous staff, breakfast included, lovely and very clean room, cheap and charming at the same top, close to monuments and the metro

I have been to this hotel twice. The rudeness of Cristina, the lady who works at the reception is disarming, a talkative, rude and very intrusive person. The rooms have hydromassage tubs but at the best of times the power goes out and you always have to call the lady. from the reception who you would prefer not to see anymore because they are very rude, I wonder how they put such a crazy person to work there, someone who calls to book and hangs up on you because she's nervous about life

The room was nice and the balcony was great, but I heard music from the bar below the hotel all night. I didn't sleep all night. Someone must be yelling outside. My companion is the type who can sleep during an earthquake, but I couldn't sleep because the bar was so noisy. I already knew this from previous comments. If you don't want a balcony, ask for a room on the other side, which is quieter. We walked to various places. The 30 minute walk to the Colosseum was great

I stayed for just one night to enjoy the Testaccio neighborhood. The structure, both from the photos and from the outside, appears inviting and is reminiscent of modern hotels in Northern Europe. The logistics, however, are terrible: the reception is located on the first floor in the middle of the long corridor onto which the doors of the rooms overlook. The welcome was rude to say the least. The lady responded annoyed to a simple request: she seemed nervous for other reasons. Walking down the long corridor, we came across the dirty laundry trolley (at 8pm!), dirty cups in one corner and messy tools and boxes in another corner. The room, large and well furnished, gave the impression of a good initial inves**ent that was then neglected. Same impression on the condominium terrace onto which the room overlooks. Shower just enough. The double bed was made up of two side-by-side beds that separated. Would it have been so complicated to provide a topper, which would also have made the very uncomfortable spring mattresses easier? Overall, considering the cost (75 euros without breakfast) it is not worth it. In the area there are bed & breakfasts that are clearly superior in terms of quality/price ratio.

I only stayed in this hotel for one night and I must say that I was very satisfied. It is located in the heart of Testaccio, an area where the Roman inhabitants and customs are fully experienced. My room was very spacious and welcoming with modern and well-kept furniture. The cleanliness was excellent and the staff were super friendly too. I didn't take advantage of breakfast, but there is the possibility of having it in an adjacent bar. Excellent quality-price relation.

Excellent hotel, maximum availability, clean, well-furnished and very spacious rooms, they allowed us to bring our e-bikes into the room to recharge them. I didn't give a higher score because breakfast is not taken in the hotel but in a bar which offers a decent minimum but not a hotel breakfast. Excellent central location and excellent value for money. ADVISED
