The apartment is located in an area quite far from the center. As quiet and controlled as it may be, it is also poorly connected: to take the tram or the metro, you have to travel up to 20 minutes on foot. But it's not so much the distance from the top Roman attractions and monuments that disappointed me and my travel companion: the room - despite being a double - was tiny, with a bathroom built into the wall and zero privacy for guests. The worst, however, lay elsewhere: nothing worked inside. We found, in no particular order: a broken handle arranged in the best possible way for use, and to aggravate it all is the fact that it was the bathroom door handle; the sheets were dirty; the air conditioner was broken, it turned on and off at will at unthinkable times; the drain did not work and it was noisy 24 hours a day for reasons unknown to us; the TV and WiFi worked poorly and at times; to top it off, the room was full of dust, which is not the best for an allergy sufferer. But worst of all was the following: we explicitly told the host that we didn't want cleaning during our stay, yet still someone came into the room to clean while we were out and about in Rome, violating our personal spaces and , above all, without even asking for permission following an explicit and clear request. We found ourselves wrong, in essence. The host was also nice, but there is so much to improve. Bad value for money, our expectations were not met at all.
