NH Collection Fori Imperiali

Having visited Rome over 10 times before we wanted somewhere very special for our Wedding Anniversary and Fori Imperiali did not disappoint. Not only does it have THE best views in Rome over Trajan’s Column and Forum, Vittoriano and across to the Capitoline, but the Oro Bistrot Roof Top Restaurant is Michelin Star quality without Rome’s Michelin Star prices. The Hotel’s staff are superb, very friendly, professional and there are lots of them to help with anything one needs. We would have named those who particularly stood out but we were up to over 8 people, from the General Manager, Guest Relations Manager, Front Desk, Breakfast, Concierge and Oro Bistrot staff. Unlike many other Rome Hotels we have stayed in, the Hotel retains its traditional charm but has been completely and tastefully refurbished throughout and things work, with effective but quiet air conditioning and clean, tidy and spacious rooms effectively sealed from much of the external city noise. It’s a 5 Star Hotel so don’t expect it to be cheap but it is great value for money for what it offers in this category. If we could give more stars we would. We will be back next year!

The room was comfy, simple and nice. The bed was clean and I slept well. The location is really good and the service was amazing. Special thanks to Francesca and the other staff who were really helpful during my stay. The only little issue I could remember is that there is one small lift in the hotel, which when busy, never can be called.

We were treated like Family! We arrived tired and weary after a long journey to get to Rome. From the moment we pulled up to the hotel, the entire staff was fabulous. Our bellhops gently got our luggage from the taxi and did not rush us or hurry us in like some other places. Eddie helped us with our bags and brought us to the reception where Francesca greeted us with a big smile and warm welcome. I felt as if I had known her for a long time and she was a dear friend that was glad to see us! She made us comfortable and we were seated in chairs and given a well needed glass of Prosecco. Our room was spacious, clean with a great bed and pillows. The next morning when we awoke, there was a Happy Anniversary mat at our doorstep which was super sweet of them to acknowledge our special day. The rooftop bar was gorgeous with excellent views, again with staff that was great. Jake helped us with taxis and logistics. The hotel is in a perfect spot to get around and see so many of Rome’s central sites like the Colosseum, Palatine Hill and many other historical places. Being Veterans, we booked this hotel through the Armed Forces Vacation Club. It was an easy process and we are definitely impressed with this hotel and the staff.
