The staff is the best. We arrived really late but the owner was helpful and kind with us. Our room was nice and clean. The location could not have been better. Right between the night life and the center. Overall I recommend everyone this place.

This hotel is falsely advertised. The hotel manager was late to let us in the hotel after sharing our train arrival time. We did have to change it but had 5+ hours notice. You also have to check in before a certain time or you will be charged. I was not aware of this when I booked. There is no front desk. The room has the same bedding as the photos but it missed many details. The wallpaper was coming off the walls. The smell when you walk in was overpowered by perfume (glaad plug-ins) so strong it was covering up a scent. I’m sensitive to smell so I unplugged the one in the bathroom to help. Unfortunately, you either smelled the horrible plug-ins or a musky mold smell. The bathrooms were atrocious. The toilet seat was coming off the hinges. The shower side piece did not stay up. The top “rain” head would fill with water and then leak. There would be standing water in the shower because the drain was clogged. The shower was corroded and it looked to be unclean or had signs of mold. I even tried opening windows to get the overpowering smell out and when it would not leave after I had a severe headache and nausea from the smell I knew we needed to book another hotel. When contacting *********** and trying to find another hotel. The Wi-Fi stopped working and the cell reception would not work at all. As we were leaving the hotel I saw flying ants on the floor. Very disappointed in the room and service. This hotel is not worth $200+ it should be $50-75. I have stayed in hostiles nicer. Do not stay here!!! Even after leaving and getting to a new hotel I still can smell the scent on my clothes. Not a great start to the trip. Don’t waste your time as we did.

Le propriétaire ne pense qu’à l’argent. Ayant réservé une chambre quadruple, ce dernier a estimé que nos enfants n’étaient pas inclus (40€ de plus )… Le parking prévu sur le site est en fait payant à 30€. L’immeuble et la résidence sont dans un état lamentable, le Vatican n’est pas à 10 minutes mais à 33 minutes de l’hôtel. Résultat 250€ pour une chambre alors que la majeure partie des hôtels de Rome est à un prix équivalent voire moins cher!

A hidden gem just steps from Ponte Cisto. Walking distance of all major attractions and in a quiet neighbourhood. Luigi is a welcome host. Rooms are very clean (cleaned daily) and there is good wifi and air conditioning. There is also a coffee machine in the room. It is excellent value and the perfect base for a visit to Rome

le stanze disponibili al centro di roma sono purtroppo molto spesso fondaci o garage riadattati, senza aria, rumorosi, piano strada (oppure sono molto cari): Casa Ponte Sisto ha invece una serie di ottime caratteristiche 1. location: centralissima, pochi passi letteralmente da trastevere, campo de' fiori, largo argentina 2. ben collegata: i mezzi pubblici non servono praticamente mai, ma se servono, oppure se bisogna andare in aeroporto, la zona è ben collegata sia con la stazione di trastevere (trenino per fiumicino) a poche fermate con il mitico tram n. 8, sia con termini e tiburtina, essendo molto vicina alle femrate di bus e tram 3. veniamo alla casa: MODERNA, PULITA, ACCOGLIENTE. Niente vecchi portoni puzzolenti, mobili rotti e impolverati, lenzuola ammuffite. belle stanze, ben organizzate, mobili nuovi, infissi perfetti (anche antirumore), terzo piano dunque c'è aria, aria condizionata 4. Bagno: pulito, moderno, un piacere 5, ascensore funzionante 6. proprietario gentile e molto disponibile 7. il prezzo è in linea con gli standard della zona ed è giusto considerando tutti i pro. non solo lo consiglio ma ci tornero' ogni volta che andro' a roma
