When I was booking my accommodation for Rome, I wanted something central, quiet, close to the metro, neat and reasonably priced. This hotel ticked all of the boxes. Mum and I stayed during the height of summer, with high humidity and daily temperatures up to and exceeding 40 degrees celcius. The air conditioning worked well and the hotel's central location meant that we could pop back in when we needed a break from exploring. Unfortunately, during our visit the metro was out of action (it was located only a street away) but there was a taxi stand just down the street and the hotel was within walking distance to many of the main sites, including the Spanish Steps and the Villa Borghese Gardens. Gianni on the front desk was always kind and happy to assist us in any way that he could. I would not hesitate to recommend Piazza di Spagna Suite de Charme to others and will definitely be staying there again the next time that I am in Rome.
