Our recent six-day stay at The Building in Rome was an absolute delight, especially when traveling with a teenager. Opting for the junior suite proved perfect, providing two levels of living space that allowed our son his own private area on the lower floor. This layout not only gave him a sense of independence but also ensured everyone had their own comfortable space. Each morning began wonderfully with the included breakfast. The offerings were ample and varied—from scrambled eggs and bacon to a broad selection of meats, cheeses, pastries, and cereals—ensuring a pleasing start to our busy days. The hotel’s bar was another highlight, featuring stunning interiors that made each evening feel special. The addition of a live pianist elevated our experience, creating a soothing ambiance that was perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration. Dining in the hotel’s restaurant was a treat as well; the Italian cuisine was authentically delicious and provided good value. We dined there twice and each meal was a testament to the quality and service of the establishment. Located in the prestigious embassy district, The Building was ideally situated, just a 30-minute walk from the Trevi Fountain and close to many other popular sights. Even when we chose to take taxis, they were surprisingly quick and reasonably priced, adding to the convenience of our stay. Given our wonderful experience, we wouldn’t hesitate to choose The Building again for our next visit to Rome. It offered not just a place to stay, but a place to truly enjoy, making our holiday as relaxing as it was memorable.
