Hotel is just next to a parliament building so many police on patrol day and night. Feels very safe. Many restaurants and cafes down the street to choose from. Location is all within walking distance to Pantheon, Trevi fountain, Piazza Navona and the shopping district. Metro and many public buses nearby to go to further tourist attractions. The room has a high ceiling and decor gives off the traditional look.Hotel has a lift to use.

Wonderful stay at Hotel Nazionale. The front desk was attentive and friendly. The hotel is very clean and the bar area is beautiful and peaceful to enjoy a cocktail. We really enjoyed this location because we were able to walk to lots of nearby sites easily. Also a short walk to the best gelato place, Giolotti. We will definitely be back when we return to Rome. Thank you for a wonderful and welcoming stay in beautiful Roma.

The economy rooms can be a bargain for a short stay. Get a 4-star hotel experience at cheaper price, just knowing the room is small. Our bathroom was actually pretty spacious. Great location. (Unlike others, I find Giolitti over-rated. Why stand in line for their ice cream?) Hotel is quiet and close to everything. Very good substantial breakfast.

We had a wonderful stay here - we were asked at check-in if it was our first time in Rome (it was), and we were upgraded to a larger room with a view of St Peter's Basilica! It was amazing. Breakfast was great, including eggs and bacon, and we loved that it started at 7:00. Everyone was very friendly - we would definitely stay here again.
