My wife and I have visited Rome at least 5 times. Each time we have returned to Hotel Santa Maria. The staff, the hotel and the service provided have never disappointed. This has been reliably consistent over the years. This hotel is a hidden oasis in the hustle and bustle of Rome. It is so nice to return at the end of a day and enjoy the calm and quiet of the garden. Happy hour is always a pleasant time to relax, enjoy an aperitif and discuss the experiences of the day. The next time we travel to Rome, we will definitely stay at Hotel Santa Maria.

Another beautiful stay at the nicest hotel! Friendly and competent staff. A place to retreat from the hectic tourist traffic and relax with a tastefeil cocktail. To enjoy a fresh breakfast and a delicious coffee in the quiet atrium is the best start og the day!

Lovely surroundings and excellent service. The staff are knowledgeable and couldn't be more helpful. After our overnight flight, we found the taxi the hotel had arranged for us waiting, as promised. Happy hour is indeed very happy! Excellent appetizers and cocktails! Again, staff in the restaurant, Kevin and Marvin were outstanding as were the staff on the desk. We won't even consider staying anywhere else on our next trip to Rome.

This small hotel is the absolute best! They give personal attention to each guest. The staff does more than doing their job. They remember each guests requests and give personal attention to each guest. The breakfast and Happy Hour are excellent. The beds and bedding gave me the best night's sleep in Italy for me. Federico at reception and Kevin in the bar are the best!

We were a bit enchanted with our visit at the Hotel Santa Maria. This was our second time here and it did not disappoint! The whole thing feels like an oasis of citrus trees, calm and tranquility in the midst of the bustling city of Rome. The complimentary breakfast and Happy Hour buffets are lovely, very tasty and very diverse. The rooms are clean, comfortable and decorated very beautifully. The best part of our stay there was the wonderful staff. We found them to be attentive, very friendly and very accomodating. We met another couple there who told us that they have gone there every year for the past twenty years. I can see why and we will probably do the same. See you there!

The location is great. A lively area with plenty of options for food and drinks. The hotel is very quiet and only 20mins walk to all the major attractions in Rome. The rooms and common areas are lovely, especially enjoyed relaxing in the courtyard. The staff are amazing, we enjoyed spending time with Kevin the barman, he looked after us incredibly well through our stay.

From the first moment of arriving and being greeted by the staff. We were shown to our room and they made us feel very at home. The staff serving breakfast are super friendly and like to have fun. They make great coffee drinks to order. Conveniently located in the Trastevere area it 's a hidden gem.

This hotel is an amazing, beautiful hidden gem in Roma - quarter Trastevere. All of the staff is very kind, helpful, speaks perfectly English. Any request we had - before and whilst we were there - is immediately dealt with and to our fully satisfaction. Once you enter the gate it is a transquility serenity place after the crowd outside. The location is perfect. Close to Ponto Siste (bridge over the Tiber) so you are directly to all Roman highlights. Go for dinner to La Scala: perfect and not expensive. (in and outside nice)

Beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of Trastevere. Comfortable attractive layout. Comfy bed. Nice private courtyard surrounded by orange trees. It’s an oasis inside a busy Trastevere . They offer a lovely happy hour every afternoon from 5:30 to 7:30pm. Yummy breakfast served every morning, where you can dine inside or outside on the patio. The staff was thoughtful, efficient, friendly and helpful. A special thank you to Norman for his designer and delicious cappuccinos every morning! He made our stay very welcome! We will stay here again when we return to Rome!
