Room was just what I needed and I had a nice window which welcomed the sun and cool breeze. The hotel in a great walking location from all of Rome’s main attractions but not in the heart where it becomes noisy. The breakfast buffet has many good options. Only downside would be the walls are thin so if you’re next to a loud person you can hear them talking. I had to deal with that but other than that, I would definitely stay. The staff are lovely

Very comfortable and the staff is very friendly and helpful great place to stay. Very quiet close to activities great area to walk around. The breakfast was very good. Rooms are very clean. Probably the only negative is that you have to go next door and use two different elevators not a show stopper

A fabulous hotel with a beautiful private balcony. Romantic, fabulous location for shopping, eating & sightseeing. The hotel was immaculate, the bed was so comfortable. The room was beautiful. There wasn’t any window or ventilation in the bathroom, so a bit steamy. The towels looked a bit tired and it would have been nice if there were proper glasses and mugs in the room rather than paper and plastic. However the room was really lovely. The hotel staff were really helpful and kind. . The breakfast was delicious. We don’t normally like buffets but it was small & fresh and the staff continually stocked it. Over all we thoroughly recommend it and would definitely go back. Location to railway to the airport is also walking distance.

Hotel was very nice and staff were welcoming. Located near a plaza with a surprisingly good outdoor restaurant. Also very near the train station and steps to the subway, could not have been more convenient.

Cleanliness excellent, friendly staff, good location. Powerful shower. Ironing facilities on communal landing. Room was on the small side with no view. Beds and pillows were quite hard,but we walked so much in the day sleeping was not an issue. I was surprised by takeaway coffee cups I hhe room.eould have preferred ceramic cups

Hotel Mascagni is situated next to Piazza della Repubblica (metro) and a few minutes’ walk from Termini train station, which connects to all of Italy and FCO airport. And if, like me, you find central Rome best navigated on foot, it’s adequately located to reach pretty much anywhere you need to get to. I was upgraded to one of the rooms on the fourth floor of an adjacent building. My room was comfortable and clean, with a good shower. It was situated on the back side of the building, away from the noisy road that passes the hotel. For me, this was much appreciated. You can store your bags there in case of early arrival. Breakfast caters for every expectation. All in all, reasonably priced and satisfactory. Not flash, but a solid performer - at least for a business traveller like me - that’s worth a return visit.
