Hotel Concordia

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights at the end of Nov 2023. The hotel is located within walkable distance to Rome major attraction. Complementary breakfast every morning was excellent with coffee customized to order every time. The hotel staffs were very nice and helpful. When we came in to check in around 8am our room wasn't ready, which is understandable, so we had to leave our luggages at the concierge. When we returned around 5pm our room was ready and all our luggages were already in the room, not so many hotels do this anymore. Definitely recommend this hotel.

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Concordia for 3 nights. We booked an Economy Double Room (which was the only type available for our stay). Room was very small which was fine. Had a safety deposit box and mini fridge with a kettle for tea and coffee. Bathroom was an ok size, shower cubicle felt very small however. The room looked out on to a back alley. The hotel is in a great location and staff are very polite and helpful. Main reception area and the breakfast room are nice. The rooms are clean and fine as a base when exploring Rome. The price for our stay was very reasonable. They have a rooftop terrace that we never managed to see when we were there. Lots of stairs up to the rooms and terrace (which is to be expected in Rome). They do have a lift that fits 1 person at a time but did not use. Some points which could be improved: The bed frame was very noisy and creaky every time you moved, mattress quite hard which I didn’t mind but my husband felt it was uncomfortable and it dipped in the middle. There is no soundproofing at all. I could hear people in the next room coughing, their shower running, etc and people out in the corridor. We had some kind of generator/unit outside our room which made noise at intervals day and night. Also bottle bins being filled/emptied early in the morning which is loud if you have the window open. If I was returning to this hotel I would try to book another room type, possibly on another side of the building and one that had a nicer view.

The Hotel was very nice and so close to the city center. The Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain were so close. The Breakfast was Outstanding as was Gabriela who served us. Front reception Staff was friendly and helpful.
