Hotel is located on a slope, and main door has sensor. Stayed for 1 night and the bathroom seems bigger than the room. The room have 1 USB charging point next to the bed but it's not working well. Else the other charging points are location below and next to the table. Note that no toothbrush is provided and there's bathroom slipper provided.
Service from staff was very friendly and helpful.

Thank you very much for staying at the excellent Hotel Barberini. First, we have no comments. Secondly, the hotel is located in a great place on Barberini Square in the center of the eternal city, next to the metro station. Staff very helpful, always answered questions before arrival, suggesting the best solutions for spending time in Rome. We could leave our luggage first thing in the morning before check in as well as leave it after check out and come back for it later. First class breakfast! The kindness of the service, a smile with an Italian temperament at every turn. Clean hotel, everything in accordance with 4 stars. I highly recommend. I was in Rome for the 3rd time and I know that I will come back and certainly to Hotel Barberini. We managed to find an offer for this hotel on trivago in the period 31.12 - 01.01, which was over 50% lower than other popular booking websites ;-). Of course, you have to search and book at the right time. Summing up the assessment of the stay at the Barberini Hotel, I give the highest rating. I recommend

The word perfect isn't enough to describe our stay. Perfect bed with perfect pillows. Very professional and k8nd staff. Both in front desk and during breakfast. A lot of options in the breakfast menu. Beautiful view from the roof, where their restaurant is.

We booked for 5 people that stayed for 4 nights in 3 rooms One day there was an incident of chlorine poisoning in the entire hotel, we were all evacuated and the fire department arrived Some of us got it bad, and were vomiting for a couple of hours and coughing for several days(!) afterwards Our vacation was ruined for at least 2 days None of the hotel employees bothered to check in with us afterwards, and no compensation was offered, When we tried approaching (after we had recovered, returned home and medically checked) to ask for compensation for the negligence and those days we lost, the hotel refused I really don't recommend booking your room in this hotel

The rooms are small, but considering the location and cost, I think it's unavoidable. The location is convenient for shopping and sightseeing, and the staff are friendly. The restaurant on the 6th floor is compact, but the view from the hilltop was great.
