Hotel Colosseum

The location is great, take care of the path you choose to walk back to the hotel though as one includes a set of stairs that will leave you breathless. The hotel is clean and the staff is very kind and friendly. They offer some services and there’s quite a good breakfast. The only issue I’ve found, the breakfast could be more vegan friendly. There’s a terrace on last floor with an amazing view of the city. We will definitely come back

Professional attentive service for all staff especially Damino and the front desk team who go the extra mile to ensure that all guests receive a warm genuine friendly welcome. Bedroom was well appointed and clean, breakfast was excellent. Location is perfect for exploring this magnificent city. Metro nearby. It was truly lovely to return back each evening to experience the warmth from the staff and the comfort of the bedroom and have a great nights sleep. Thank you to Hotel Colosseum for making our first visit to Rome such a memorable and wonderful experience.

Beautiful hotel, great location, spacious room with wonderful balcony, awesome rooftop bar with great view, and delicious, bountiful breakfast buffet included!

Let me say from the outset that this is a good budget hotel,which is very clean with some excellent staff. The location isn’t perfect But it is only a short walk from everything you need,including a very quick ( 8mins) walk to the colosseum.👌 The rooms are small and our room (double) had a very small shower room which was fiddly to negotiate when using due to its very compact size. The rest of the room was adequate, although the basic supplies could have been better, we had lots of green tea and a couple of sachets of instant coffee but no breakfast tea and only two small cartons of milk. We chose this hotel to celebrate our anniversary due to its location and the fact that it had rooms with either a balcony or with views over the old town, either would have been lovely…. So well in advance I sent an email to the hotel explaining our anniversary and requesting either a room with a balcony or if not available a room with a view, we were told a note would be put on our booking to that effect…. Imagine our disappointment when we were allocated a small room with no balcony or a view instead we had views over some storage tanks, furthermore there was no mention of our request or indeed any apology that no further rooms were available….. I felt this was a real let down and dampened our celebrations massively……the attention to customer care was certainly lacking. Overall the hotel was clean, the staff overall were great especially the breakfast staff and the young guy serving in the rooftop bar… The rooftop bar was very nice with some superb views over the old town and the colosseum..
