Location is perfect, hotel is a bit old but overall it is clean. A bit pricey.

The service attitude at the front desk is okay, and the breakfast is not too rich. The 3-person room is made up of a 2-person room with an extra bed, so the space is a bit small, and it is very close to the subway station, which is convenient for travel.

Lo Starhotels Metropole e' il giusto compromesso per chi cerca una soluzione comoda, elegante e accogliente. Sono stata in questo hotel per un evento e non dimenticherò le sensazioni provate nell'accedere alla Hall. Luci calde e composizioni floreali in un'atmosfera lounge condita da delicata musica al piano. Mi hanno accolto i sorrisi di Daniela, di Tofael e di Claudio e l'aperitivo del barman Gennaro. Staff attento, educato e professionale. Ci si sente a casa! Tornerò certamente per pernottare!

Eine reine katastrophe! Ich habe keines der versprochenen „Vorteile“ von ******* erhalten. Wir haben ein veraltetes Zimmer erhalten. Die Toilette war kapput. Als wir in der Nacht anfragten sagte man uns man solle auf den nächsten Morgen warten. Es hat gestunken. Die Dusche war unbrauchbar mit einem Wasserdruck wie aus einer Wasserpistole. Eine reine Katastrophe! Man hat uns auch sehr herabgesehend behandelt. Vermutlich weil wir ein jüngeres Paar waren.

Perfect hotel stay for four days! Beautiful hotel in great location of Rome. We were greeted and checked in to great rooms by Daniela. Daniela excels in customer service and experiences. Daniela was very personable and insured our experience was first-class from the moment we walked into the Metropole. We also worked with Claudio throughout our stay. And Claudio did an exceptional job taking care of us also, and just like Daniela, always with a smile. Quiet rooms and hotel very updated/classy. Hotel is also in a great location of Rome, and we walked almost everywhere during our four day stay: to many restaurants and major attractions. The hotel also serves an incredible breakfast with many selections. Thanks to everyone at the Metropole who made our stay memorable.

3 stars for the location only because it’s walkable from the train station. We booked a family room at this location, the room was congested with no space for my 2 kids to even have a playtime, specifically the ceiling height is so low with very small windows. The lock of the room had to be repaired as well. We also did an all inclusive breakfast but it was below par as well. The room is not as depicted on their we website, plus to make us feel better they said “we are giving you the best room”. I don’t think you should say that to a customer when you have better rooms to offer, that too depicted on your website with a big window. It goes on to show how you are actually fooling the customer. Receptionist looked very moody and wanted to cater to certain audience, we say that because we literally saw them guiding others checking in with us with maps and directions. We did feel we were not treated fairly compared to others, their breakfast buffet staff doesn’t even give a smile and seem to be unwelcoming. I don’t think they had anything being offered for kids as depicted in their website or for that matter a water or a drink to their guest when they check in. We don’t think the rooms are worth of the amount that you will spend here. Look for other chains in Italy where we had amazing experience like IQ hotels or NH collections, these are real 4 star hotels and this one definitely falls in a 3 star category.
