Best Hotels near Parco di Commodilla, Rome

The hotel is very modern, lovely sized room and really comfy bed! You get a hairdryer in the room (ladies!) and there is a mini fridge to leave your own drinks. Aircon worked perfectly and some fancy lighting above the bed! Really close to the 160 bus stop that takes you to the centre of Rome for €1.50 (pre pay on the app!) and also some lovely restaurants and cafes for food. Short walk from the 716 bus to take you to Rome Termini. Lovely staff- although confusing when one member let us have water complimentary and another charged for it. Only improvements would be to have tea coffee in the room for in a morning, and also don’t expect the Beth room to be super clean- in need of a little TLC.

Honestly，my experience this hotel is a little bit lower than equivalent level hotel. The mattress in this hotel is not bad. However， unfortunately， it mattress gonna be only point I satisfy with it. The service is normal，but their equipment maintenance is concerning，there are several bulbs down in my room and the shower door in the bathroom seems hard to push. Most importantly，air conditioner in the room is not powerful enough which is a terrible infomation for tourist in this summer. The picture attached in this comment is it outside environment，it might be not clear enough， but I have to say it outside is too dark😂， but it is not a luxury hotel in city centre， therefore it is still acceptable . This hotel is generally good， but there are still large spaces that it can move forward to increase it customer satisfaction.

I stayed here for 3 nights with my friend. 10€ a night was a great deal. Met some fun people at the hostel and had a good time. Location was also convenient with grocery store and bus stop to most places near. My only complaints would be there is extra fee with city tax 10€ each we were not told about. Bathrooms have strange odour, and air conditioning was on all night when it's already quite cold. I ended up getting a cold from the air con. And also me and my friend were 2 women and we were put in 8 bedroom room with only men so was wary of safety, especially since one of the men tried to ask me to sleep with him in the middle of the night! But again the type of customer is not the hostels fault. If you want a cheap place to stay and don’t mind not living in luxury, come here for sure also a great way to meet new people in the city.

This hotel is probably 20 mins on Bus route 30 away from the centre but easily accessible. The staff were incredibly helpful and could not do enough for us, Juan in particular. The rooms were clean and cleaned everyday, oddly for a room with a microwave and sink there were no utensils. We had a really good trip. Breakfast was standard continental and coffee was amazing. Parto con il dire che pernotto spesso a Roma sia per lavoro che per concorsi. Avendo pernottato in tale struttura per 3 notti, ho potuto gustare la loro colazione, che anche se un pò povera a livello di scelta, era comunque buona. Piccolo neo, anche se per me molto importante, nonostante il costo elevato della stanza, non fanno un cappuccino ”reale”, ma sei costretto a bere quello della macchinetta (direi che con quasi 170 euro a notte magari un cappuccino come si deve me lo merito, ma va bene). Durante il soggiorno, lo scarico del water non funzionava poichè si era danneggiato, ma è stato prontamente riparato. Ho apprezzato la cordialità dei ragazzi che si occupavano della ristorazione. Cosa non mi è piaciuto?! Da dove iniziare?! La cosa più GRAVE a mio parere e che hanno rovistato nel mio zaino (chiuso nell'armadio) in mia assenza, Direte voi, come te ne sei accorta? Semplice! Sono una maniaca dell'ordine con l'aggravante di essere germofobica, per cui non appena arrivo in una stanza d'albergo igienizzo e conservo tutto in modo che, durante le pulizie, nessuno possa toccare la mia roba. Avevo lasciato il mio zaino interamente chiuso, anche le fibbie a scatto, ed il comparto che rende espandibile il mio zaino chiuso. Al mio ritorno trovo lo zaino spostato, le fibbie e la cerniera della parte espandibile aperta. Dal mio zaino ovviamente non mancava nulla. Appena giunti in Hotel, la receptionist, squadrandoci dalla testa ai piedi, e notando le nostre valigie (due zaini) credeva, forse, non fossimo all'altezza di quel posto!?Non saprei. Sta di fatto che non appena ho comunicato che avevamo una stanza prenotata, ha subito cambiato atteggiamento, divenendo quasi adorabile e sdolcinata. Avendo prenotato e pagato tramite booking, ho dovuto pagare in loco le sole tasse di soggiorno, risultanti dal sito essere 6 euro al giorno. All'atto del pagamento mi viene richiesto un costo di euro 7.5 a notte; ovviamente faccio presente che sul sito era indicato un costo differente, ma il receptionist in maniera molto sgarbata, poco educata e con fare infastidito, utilizzando un tono di sufficienza, non da nessuna spiegazione, ma ribadisce il costo totale da pagare. Ora io non sono solita mettere delle recensioni negative, ma qui ci sta tutta.

Where to begin, the B&B Hotel Rome, placed the booking through a 3rd party firm, not something I'd usually choose but seemed okay. Now the hotels actually nice overall. Walls are abit thin so you can hear upstairs on a night like they was in the bathroom next to you, beds comfy, rooms clean and shower room was nice. Pressure and heat all good along with the decent working aircon system. Wasn't in room much to be fair but yea the room we had was okay. Breakfast area looks like some school canteen from 2010 but essentially does the job. Nice coffee and savouries. Not really needed though when outside there is loads of local cafes far cheaper. Bit pointless. Breakfast outside is maybe 5 euros for coffee and pastries. Where this review takes a sudden turn was the end. Started really with the receptionist (staff member). A young man with glasses (polite and well mannered).  Helpful enough at the beginning but was very insistent on getting us to book a taxi back to the airport days in advance, Infact when we arrived it's all he was talking about before giving us the lock code to the room. Now we'd usually do Uber but was told it was early and traffic to that airport can be a nightmare. Ubers may decline jobs etc, The gent was kind enough upto this point to help us with restaurant options and travel plans via busses. So why not use the hotel to book us a cab back to campino airport. So the gentleman said 50 euros. Private taxi. Now 50 euros is alot as ubers about 42 euros in traffic but its booked and private hire with proper taxi driver, Still this was alot but its private and booked so we'll pay 50 euros ... what a bad idea this was!. So After waking up far too early for this highly staged and planned airport run. We arrived to the reception to see a very smiley young cab driver. ”To the airport yes, booked yes, Airporto, Room number ***”. From this we got in the taxi and we was underway. The Jounrey was crazily fast, no need at all to be up so early. No traffic. First daft decision I realised and the overwhelming thought then started setting in. On arriving at the airport the taxi driver turned to us and requested 60 euros for what is at best a 38 euro trip normally, Plus we'd been told 50 remember at reception by the eager staff member booking everyones taxis and telling us everytime he saw us that he had ”booked our taxi” with a cheesy smile. Then also turned out he didn't take card as was mentioned by the hotel worker ... This ended up an awful experience. Alot of shouting and waving hands. Taxi driver very aggressive, Not the best end. And all because we never booked an uber but instead took a staged taxi run from what obviously was the staff members ”Friend” in a taxi. Maybe a deal they have on going. If its not I do apologise but very much seems this way. So now to the owners of the hotel !. You may care or not, but this is going on in the hotel. And it really ruined the end of our holiday. We'll never stay there again. Which is

Couldn’t fault the cleanliness of the hotel & staff were always very polite and always greeted us with a smile. Only downside was the vents carried sound from other rooms so we could hear other people’s conversations we could get over this as we were out most the day & just turn the tv up. But on our last night we left the hotel extremely tired! we tried to get an early night (8pm) as we had to leave at 3am for our flight back home (followed by a 4 hour drive). It was this night some guests decided to throw a karaoke party somewhere in the hotel at 9pm… this carried on until gone 11pm my partner went up to find hotel staff to ask when the noise was going to stop but there wasn’t anyone around. He eventually came back to the room, I tried to call reception but our phone was broken, I tried using my mobile but the line wouldn’t work. Another half hour passes my partner goes to reception again luckily there was a staff member there who apologised and made us aware we weren’t the only ones complaining and to try giving it another half an hour!? Eventually the music and singing stopped but this followed by occasional drunken people shouting about… we left the hotel with only 2 hours of sleep in the past 30 hours :(

Deserves to be a five-star hotel, the service is amazing, and the bedding is very comfortable. Excellent location right on top of the Spanish steps. Because I booked six nights, I got a free room with a small balcony. As soon as I entered the room, I was pleasantly surprised. There were welcome fruits and a welcome card with my name printed on it (still bilingual in Chinese and English). The cleaning service is professional and clean. Free water and chocolate every day and a bottle of red wine. There is a Mixing restaurant on the sixth floor of the hotel. Unfortunately, I did not go to taste this time. Before I left, I went to the restaurant on the first floor of his house. Angus steak was superb and delicious. In short, such a hotel is worth going to Rome again.

I would have liked to rate the hotel as 4.5* however our room was at the front of the hotel and even with the windows shut it was very noisy from the large road junction outside, plus there was noise from other residents and tvs in other rooms, maybe some soundproofing needs to be carried out. That having been said the location was excellent, an easily walkable distance to main attractions, plus a metro stop is directly outside the hotel. The area felt safe at night and there some very good restaurants to try which are only minutes away. Should you wish to go shopping then there are plenty of non-designer shops to choose from nearby including a very good department store called COIN. Our room was a good size and had a lovely bathroom. The bed was large and extremely comfortable, the linen was super soft. Cleaning through the hotel was of a high standard. Breakfast was excellent, everything you might want and the most delicious scrambled eggs I have ever had in a hotel. There were salads, pastries, cakes, fresh fruit, yoghurts, different cured meats and cheeses, sausages and bacon and vegetarian options. Top marks for the hard working breakfast staff. A great start to the day. Staff generally were friendly and helpful. At reception were snacks and drinks to welcome you which was a nice gesture. The hotel also has a small restaurant, ideal for lunches or if you are too exhausted to leave the hotel at night. We had pizzas and salads there a couple of times for lunch and they were very good. The reception area is good with couches, they will look after your baggage if you have a late flight. A very enjoyable stay.

I liked this hotel; it is quite, the view is worth every penny. The rooms are clean and spacious. The staff is friendly. The price is reasonable, or best-value. So I would recommend to all
