We had a wonderful one night stay at the White Horse. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Both the evening meal and breakfast were fantastic. The room was comfortable and equipped to a good standard with lots of nice touches. There is no onsite parking but there are a few reasonably priced public car parks within walking distance.

A fabulous one night stay for our anniversary. Had a very lovely dinner , the food was amazing. Place is very nice, spacious and welcoming. The staff are very charming and efficient, and nothing is too much trouble. Bedroom was lovely, spacious, could do with a little TLC, not much, but little things like hole in lampshades, window frames. Radio, kettle, coffee machine, tv, well equipped, plenty of tea and coffee bags and pods. Had a very lovely dinner , the food was amazing. Even given an anniversary gift!

Stayed 19-23 May. A delightful experience, beautiful building, lovely room, amazing location, great food and very pleasant and professional staff. Will definitely stay again - hopefully before too long. A big thank you for being so welcoming.

I knew the White Horse because I used to live in Romsey but never stayed there before. It's been up and down over the years and this is definitely an up time.
Very welcoming, very friendly. All clean and well appointed.
We asked for a child bed in the room which was ready when we arrived. The mattress was worn and very uncomfortable. Spoke to reception in the morning and it was being changed by the time I got back to the room.

Lovely hotel, great staff, lovely rooms. I was just unlucky that the quilt in my single bed was thinner that the one on my husbands bed so I was cold.

My twin and I had our birthday meal in the restaurant. A special birthday we had our main meal and desert free. The staff were friendly, efficient and couldn’t have been nicer. The food was absolutely delicious. We’d pre booked the food order (there were 10 in our party) it was beautifully presented. We weren’t rushed, it was all very well organised. Thoroughly recommended.
