"We called in to take at look at the renovated Potters Heron. Had been told it is excellent and we were not disappointed. Enjoyed a drink in the comfortable bar area . We were served by Billie - a very pleasant helpful young man. After speaking with Him we decided to stay for lunch in the restaurant and we weren’t disappointed . Food was very good and service perfect (thank you Lucy). Great to a have quality hotel in our area - will definitely return. Outside area looks perfect for the Summer - lots of seating."

"Chalet room is very cramped, only 2x folding chairs in tiny kitchenette and you are expected to fit any clothes in a wardrobe in the shower room! Be aware that continental breakfast is in your room and dishes are yours to wash - never been expected to do this in any other place. Parking is available but you need to be an excellent driver to cope when the accommodation is full - difficult sloping drive with poor visibility onto busy road. Host is very pleasant, but at £100 a night we will not be returning."
