We did a walk in booking and got the last room. Which was a family room in an attic. Room was clean and very Spanish. No tea or coffee facilities. Fridge did not work and lift next to our room was very noisy. Only one tiny window. My husband cut his head on the low wooden beams.

I never in my life tasted pasta as bad .. dripping with oil , tasteless and the garlic bread was dry .. seriously cannot understand how you can get a carbonara so wrong .. the older man serving was attentive but the younger guy wanted to anywhere else 🙄

**If you find this review helpful, please let us know by clicking the like button below! Thank you!** The premises could use a facelift and the attitude of the servers needs an adjustment. The premises were clean but worn. Our waiter seemed to be more involved with his problems than in making a stab at serving. The food was OK, not great and the coffee was again OK but not great! We have been spoiled by the quality of the coffee throughout Spain and expected as much here but did not get it. Overall will not come back again!

Twin beds. Thought comfy …Lol. clean room , great shower. Quite Noisy on street till about midnight. Parking in parking garage for discount. The room had very outdated furnishings. Location was great except for noisy street.

Visiting Ronda for the day, and met up with family to have lunch. We had the home made pizza and pasta between us and were all happy with our choices. The waiters were busy but attentive and helped us with our wine choice which was appreciated. The bill was also very reasonable for such a tourist prime location.

We stayed in Granada for a whole week, booked a trip to Ronda and had a beautifull day in Ronda until our afternoon snack break. In Don Javier, the most of the staff is very rude and arogant, while the food is bad. We ordered a cold plate for 14€ and two beers. In the dish there was a letucce stem and the whole salad was full of dirt. The worst of all were the shrimps which smelled like they were old and when we tried them, they were uneateble. We pointed out appearance and smell to the staff but they were uninterested. Prices are too high for that kind of food and service. Save your money and time and stay away from Don Javier.
