3-Star Hotels in Rotorua

Had 2 nights here to go to the very lovely collection of gardens for visiting during the 3 day Rotorua Festival of Gardens. Was attending the weekend solo so didnt want to pay too much so $50 a night for my own room was affordable and good value. Would have been worth spending a few more dollars to have had a room with an ensuite which are on the ground floor so also wouldnt have had to go up and down stairs to room on 1st floor and be half way down the corridor from the bathrooms. Just saw in the news yesterday that yha in nz is folding/closing all its hostels....a travesty to nz tourism and national and international travellers! Tragic news

This was a lovely little spot, good location and easy walking distance to the park and water in the nearby surrounds. Doesn’t cost too much in u era to travel to local attractions and there’s even a free geothermal park within 10-15 mins walk. Hotel was tidy, a bit dated and definitely ‘budget’ but serves its purpose. Take your own chrome cast if you want to stream things in the tv as it doesn’t have this function in-built.

The motel is located in the city center and is convenient for travel. The boss was very enthusiastic and introduced a lot of useful information. Thank you again!

My family and I had a 2 night stay and would definitely stay there again. We made last minute reservations over the phone, luckily for us they had an open 2 bedroom unit. The staff are friendly and helpful. The motel is peaceful, with a nice swimming pool outside which was a huge plus for the children. Yes, it isn't a 5 star hotel, but is well taken care of and clean. For me, clean, peaceful and friendly staff is of utmost importance and they have that and another positive is that it is centrally located. I had a wonderful time.

The location of the hotel is good, the hot springs are a few minutes away, and there are many places to eat nearby. The accommodation is very safe, the kitchen is clean and there are many facilities, it is noisy at night.

The hotel is close to the Posiliya Hot Springs, one of the world's top ten hot springs, just opposite the government gardens. Location praise! Very close to the lake! Join the famous hot springs to enjoy the hot spring water from the government garden. There is a spa pool, the smell of sulfur is very heavy, there is a spa pool, and a small pool! There is a milk delivery room, a cooking facility, a refrigerator, and a supermarket shopping home to eat.

Had a girls weekend to Rotorua and stayed at these apartments. A few streets back off the main road but nice and quiet and a quick drive to town. Had the 2 bedroom (Unit 6) which was very cosy, clean well stocked. Its around the back of the units and nice and quiet. Plenty of linen and electric blankets on all the beds. It has a spa located at the back of the units but we didn't use it. Showers were fantastic with instant hot water and great pressure. Thanks for a lovely stay

It’s a hot spring hotel where you can cook. The best thing is that these two have private baths and you don’t need to spend money to go to the hot springs. We have soaked here for two consecutive nights. It feels very good. The owner is also more enthusiastic. We found some minor problems. All helped us solve it smoothly, in short, it is still a recommended motel in Rotorua
