Hotels near Pannasastra University of Cambodia Battambang in Rottanak

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Emerald BB hotel. My room was spacious, well-appointed, and impeccably clean. The location of the hotel was also fantastic. It was conveniently situated in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore nearby attractions, restaurants, and shops.

We had a little trouble trying to find the hotel as the location given in the map is incorrect. Luckily our local tuk tuk driver was able to converse with the front desk and quickly brought us to the hotel. We have since wrote in to Google maps to update the hotel location. The hotel is pretty new, rooms are very clean and the stay was pleasant. The hotel is the tallest building in the vicinity, and they have an infinity edge swimming pool and a nice skybar where guest can drink and enjoy music provided by a DJ and live singer. Service is really good, waitress went out of the way to satisfy our request, and all service crew were very polite. The breakfast spread was quite good, we totally enjoyed it.

My second night at Classy Hotel was very good, but not the first night which was really bad -- the air con was not strong enough, and because of a thick comforter, I had a very difficult night, not falling asleep until early in the morning. The twin beds were also very uncomfortable. The next day I was moved into another room, and the air con was very good and the large bed very comfortable, so I slept quite well. The hotel manager later told me that some rooms have weak air cons, which they are fixing -- but why put me in a room with a weak air con at all? In any case, the breakfast is good (though a few too many pork choices), with excellent coffee. And the large swimming pool is nice. WiFi is excellent, the location is great with many eateries nearby. Even though my first night at Classy Hotel was not good, I will likely stay there on my next trip to Battambang -- as long as they put me in a room with good air con and a large bed.

We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of this hotel. The room was well appointed and beautifully decorated. The restaurant served lovely food and good cocktails. The pool area was beautiful (not many sunchairs but I think because people don’t come to Battambang to sunbathe it meant there was always space as people only used their chair for an hour or two). The staff were lovely and did everything to make sure we had a lovely stay.

A couple of small gripes to start. Our room A02 had a floor level bed on a raised platform. Not ideal for two fifty somethings.!! The bathroom shower drainage had its own special route but the non slip floor dries off quickly. The positives - hotel was well located with only a ten minute stroll over the bridge to the centre of town - a nice sized room next to the pool within a lovely garden setting. The pool beds were also very good and pool towels supplied. - a good set menu selection of Asian and European choices for breakfast - we ate two evening meals in the bar/restaurant area which were delicious, both of which were made up of Cambodian local dishes. The real positives - The Staff !!!! Absolutely outstanding service from everybody, from the team on reception organising laundry, extra keys, booking of bus tickets etc to the lady serving breakfast with a smile and freshly cut flowers, to the two girls running the bar / restaurant of an afternoon and evening who were a delight to interact with. Their smiling faces and willingness to have a laugh and a joke with us made our nights great fun. The only miserable person we came across was I believe the actual owner who spent her time patrolling the premises, checking what was going on. No acknowledgement or eye contact made with her paying guests. She should take a leaf out of her staff's book on how to interact with customers. Overall, a great stay. Thanks to everyone concerned.

The entrance off the walled parking area is so understated, except for some beautifully planted pots, that I wasn’t sure we were in the right place until stepping through and turning to the desk where Sreynou greeted us warmly with excellent English. From there a quiet and spacious covered walk leads through the vegetation to the open air restaurant including tables where we ate dinner beside the large saline pool. The garden continues to unfold along stone paths to seemingly remote rooms a short distance away. On the west side is the colourful lily pond where we watched birds, fish and the occasional lizard while eating breakfast. Ridged bedroom ceiling and deep porches where sitting and looking out to the gardens becomes restful. Dinners and all day service are so good that I wonder why breakfast offerings are only basic but satisfactory. This is a very calm place that, for those of us who are normally very active travellers, can easily sit and listen or swim or watch nature or just walk around and absorb the very peaceful feelings this resort creates.

The hotel environment is good, a good holiday rest place, the attitude and service of the service staff is very good, a little girl is learning Chinese, it is very friendly to see the Chinese, the chef will speak a few Chinese, and when she sees the Chinese, she will come to take a few Greeting. The reception desk service is very welcoming. The hotel location is a little far from the city center. You have to hit the ”Sudden” car to go out. A beautiful knife can be used. You can go to the city center in more than ten minutes. The fare is paid directly to the driver. It is best to say hello to the front desk. It will be convenient to pick you up at the door on time. I have eaten breakfast and lunch. The taste is good. Although breakfast is included when booking, it is not very rich, but the basic contents are all. Fruit bread, milk coffee eggs can be guaranteed, and there is no problem eating.

The day we entered in Sky Palace Boutique Hotel was so comfortable as the staff so friendly and helpful welcome us by smiling face. The hotel have nicely environment, spacious room with clean. We went to Bamboo train in btb city much better then the far way which is local people called Phnom Banan bamboo train, Bats cave of Sampov mountain. I recommend this hotel to everyone who going to Battambang province in Cambodia

The room is tidy, spacious, the bed 🛏️ is very comfortable just what we needed after a long bus and train 🚃 ride. The location is near Lucky Supermarket, Bakery and Bus Station. It's 10-15 minutes walk from the train station. From the market its around 8-10 minutes walk. At night its a bit dark to walk around. Definitely a good place to stay compare to the other hotels that we've tried

The location, garden design & architecture, room, breakfast as well as the highly hospitable, helpful and professional staff offered us a wonderful stay in Battambang. The garden is a very skilled creation associating dozens of local plants and trees that provides a relaxing shelter not only for guests but also for birds.
