It is a boat in one of Rotteram's canals or harbors. That might describe it the best. More in detail: checkin and checkout was convinient and professional. Due to number of guests you have to take a breaky time (every half an hour) and that worked fine for me - no huzzle, no hurry, no queues. The breaky room is also the restaurant and bar, and you have to go through there to the sleeping rooms. My room was spacey enough, locally crowded (rest room bowl very near to the wall and door, but however, it worked out fine and I could do whatever I wanted. Good shower in temp and flow, after complain of low level in wash gel, it was immediately filled up again. A huge bulls eye in the sleeping room, with good look to the canal and the opposite street walk. Well working air condition, air vent in the lavatory and very silent. Good bed with different cushions. A small desk with one chair, screen (honestly I was not able to find a news channel, but I didnt asked). Some hooks at the bath room door and at the wall, hey its a boat, is good for one or two nites, but not more. Breaky was served at the table, with coffee, tea, juice, bread - very delicious, croissant, butter, ham and cheese, marmalade and some jogurt. Sometimes in Belgium and Netherlands, choclate hail and white bread are on the choice, but not here. However, good location with short distance to super markets, the Markthal, Beurs and Blaak stations. A lot of restaurants are not far away.
