My husband and I went to Ahoy for a concert. We stayed overnight at New York Hotel.
They called me twice to check if there was anything I needed before we arrived.
I asked for a room with a bathtub, if possible. At the time she said there wasn’t a room with a tub available.
When we arrived, the concierge was very kind. She put us in a room with a nice view of the bridge and I had a tub! Room was beautiful. Loved the masculine decor.
We ate dinner at the restaurant. It was delicious and waitress was excellent.
Everyone was so professional and kind.
We had the breakfast buffet & it was delicious.
The bed and pillows were so comfortable. I didn’t want to get out of bed.
We will return in the summer.

Wir hatten vier wunderschöne Tage in Rotterdam und dieses Hotel hat maßgeblich dazu beigetragen. Wir wollten ein Haus mit Geschichte in einmaliger Lage, wir wollte modernen Komfort, wir wollten Service und ein unvergessliches Erlebnis. Und all das haben wir bekommen!
Vom unglaublich freundlichen Personal über sehr bequeme Betten, vom weltoffenen und trotzdem gemütlichen Ambiente bis zu einer ausgezeichneten Küche... wir haben alles genossen.
Wir können dieses Hotel daher vollumfänglich und guten Gewissens empfehlen!

Op nog geen 40 minuten van huis, zo'n heerlijk "er-helenaal-uit"-gevoel. De torenkamer was door het uitzicht in het torentje helemaal geweldig. Hotel zelf is tot in de puntjes in de ouderwetse stijl behouden, maar het ontbreekt je aan niets.

The location and the building are quite special, and the staff reflect this. The building has preserved so many of its unique features and contains photos and artefacts from its Holland-America Line past which make wondering around quite fascinating. The rooms were stylish, clean and quiet, we slept really well. The food was good, the breakfast was excellent. This was a refreshing experience and a really enjoyable stay
