A lovely, small and friendly hotel in a bustling French village approximately an hour away from Paris. The rooms are compact and basic but are clean and warm. The beds are comfy and there are tea and coffee making facilities along with an extra blanket if needed. The breakfast is varied, fresh bread and pastries on a daily basis and the breakfast room has plenty of seats/tables and is clean and well laid out. There is a small bar with cosy seating areas around the bar. The hotel manager is friendly and welcoming. There are lots of shops located close to the hotel selling everything from books, clothes, wine and some amazing Patisseries with the most beautiful cakes, breads and pasties. The area is lovely, very clean, there is a church and a pond and a fountain, perfect for an evening stroll. I had a lovely long weekend stay and would definitely return.

J’ai eu 2 expériences dans cet hôtel : une nuit au mois de mai avec mon conjoint lors de laquelle nous avons été très satisfaits de l’accueil et de la chambre (confort et propreté). Notre deuxième expérience est une nuitée réservée en août que j’ai dû annuler et suite à laquelle il y a eu un couac de compréhension avec la Direction. Pour autant, la Direction a fait le nécessaire pour nous donner satisfaction. Ce type de retour est suffisamment rare pour être souligné. Bravo et merci 😊
