Schönes Hotel mit schönen Zimmern und Randlage in Ruhpolding. Wir hatten Halbpension und das bedeutet hier Buffet; das Abendessen war jeweils sehr gut und reichlich. Der Service war nett und teilweise kompetent. Das Frühstück wäre auch nicht schlecht gewesen - allerdings darf man nicht "erst" um halb 9 Uhr auftauchen, denn dann kann es passieren (wie bei uns), dass nicht mehr alles im Angebot ist und es z.B. keine (gar keine!!) Marmelade mehr gibt (Antwort auf Nachfrage: "erst wieder morgen").

Leider hat das Hotel nach meiner Meinung die 4 Sterne nicht verdient. Die Zimmer waren genau wie das Essen mäßig. Beim Frühstück wurden aus Mangel an Plätzen die Tische täglich neu gewürfelt und mehrfach vergeben, ohne jedoch zwischendurch zu desinfizieren oder gar die Tischdecke zu wechseln. Einige privilegierte Einheimische hatten natürlich einen reservierten Tisch. Ein Hygiene Konzept konnte ich nicht erkennen. Sehr schade in Coronazeiten.

Wir hatten eine nette Suite. Sie war wirklich groß. Balkon, Sitzecke mit Fernseher. Schlafzimmer mit Fernseher. Zwei Badezimmer. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Man hatte eine große Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken. Die 4 Tage haben wir hier genossen. Leider haben wir die Sauna und den Pool mangels Zeit nicht nutzen. Fahrräder konnte man in der Tiefgarage abstellen.

Pleasant accommodating staff. Private parking. Hotel is situated a few hundred metres from the town centre. Comfortable rooms with all modern facilities. Good breakfast. Nice indoor pool with spa area including sauna, steam room and hot tub. No lift for upper floors, might be an issue for elderly or with mobility problems Bar was not open at the time so drinks are simply brought to the table. Dinner was a set menu of choice with main course served from chaffing dishes and starters a self service buffet. It was good value and adequate. repeat staff friendly and helpful
