Have lived here many times

Decent hotel in a residential area. Reception is not staffed 24 hours a day, so arrival after 10:30 p.m. is not possible.

Room 326 was a disaster. Directly under the window, ICEs, regional trains, S-Bahns and freight trains thundered by every two minutes. There was no chance of rest or even sleep. And that was despite the fact that I had specifically asked for a quiet room. My request was not even considered, but was immediately rejected. The carpet in the room had large stains. The hotel is also located in a residential area a considerable distance from train stations, so you have to rely on taxis or buses that run at longer intervals.

Friendly reception, room was very noisy. The railway line was directly behind the room and very noisy despite the window being closed. The shower head holder was worn out and you had to hold the shower. The biggest drawback was the number of sockets. There was no socket by the bed, which I think is outdated. The WiFi was terrible, so working was out of the question.

With outside temperatures around 20 degrees, the temperature in the room was already borderline because there was no ventilation or air conditioning. The small window is not enough to cool the temperature down significantly. There was a thick layer of dust on the shelf and I wouldn't have put even sealed food in the fridge.
