In my opinion best hotel in Saalbach. Very cozy and friendly environment. The lift down to the "schi raum" is a huge plus. Rooms are clean and up-to-date. Dining restaurant has a blissfull view of the Schattberg X-press which makes the already excellent food just taste even better.

Wat een fantastisch hotel. Alles klopte. De locatie was perfect. Het ontvangst was uiterst vriendelijk, net zoals al het personeel wat we hebben on**oet. Ontzettend correct en erg aardig. Het eten was gewoon geweldig. Echt een kadootje om zo elke avond aan te mogen schuiven om vervolgens een plaatje op elk bord te mogen ontvangen, wat ook nog eens lekker smaakt. De wellness en het zwembad met cocktail telefoon was ook erg fijn! Maar dit alles zonder dat het te stijf of ongezellig aanvoelt. Er hing een gemoedelijke sfeer. Een echte aanrader!

Super perfect Hotel for families and so nice service, you feel welcome. And really great food at the restaurant, the breakfast have everything and the evening dinner is delicious. Children have their own food. The outside pool was warm and comfortable

Je zou dit hotel al nemen omwille van zijn ligging, je komt de skikelder buiten en kunt zo de kohlmaislift binnen stappen, maar er is meer dan dat, geweldige familiale sfeer, het ontbijt is heerlijk met ruime keuze, het avondeten mag gerust gastronomisch genoemd worden, de bar, de welness, alles werd recent vernieuwd, ook in het buitenzwembad is het heerlijk vertoeven na een dagje skiën, kortom meer dan waar voor je geld

Dicht bij de lift, lekker eten, mooie en nette kamers. Leuk om na het skiën te zwemmen (binnen of buiten) en gebruik te maken van de sauna´s of dampbad. Vriendelijk personeel. Rustig niettegenstaande de après-ski vlakbij is. We komen terug.

In our opinion as a group of girls, this is by far the best hotel in Saalbach! Spotlessly clean, stylish decor, really comfy beds, fabulous staff, great location, brilliant management/ owners, superb wellness and the most amazing food which is always the highlight of our holiday. By day 3 our ski pants are tight by the end of the week we need a new wardrobe … and it’s so worth it! This is our 3rd time staying here and we’ve just confirmed our 4th stay again for next year 2025. We absolutely love it and everyone at the Kohlmais 🥰

Great location, great hotel, great and friendly service. If you are looking for a central boutique style hotel that has it all look no further. It’s right opposite of the ski lift and in the center of Saalbach. My room was spacey and well fitted. The wellnesss area is stunning for a small hotel and their food delicious. Plus their service makes you feel like at home. Everyone is warm and friendly. It was a great experience.

We hebben een supervakantie gehad! Heel vriendelijk personeel. Eigenaars maken tijd voor een praatje en wandeltips, suuuuperlekker eten voor de kok! Zalig uitzicht op de bergen. Eenvoudige maar heel nette kamer, groot terras met zalige stoelen om in te vertoeven. Super relaxen in de zwembad/saunaruimte die ook heel proper was. In één woord... FANTASTISCH. Een echte aanrader!

Location is spot on: in the village, very close by the skilift, very close by the après ski. Hotel: food is the best, rooms are cosy and comfortable (we had a renovated room), wellness and pool were nice and clean. Staff: very friendly and helpful.
