Wellnesshotel Schweizerhof

Correct welcome, nothing more; aging infrastructure (room). Some questions therefore about the quality/price ratio and, beyond the financial situation, about the future of this type of establishment (unless massive inves**ents are made).

Very well located and comfortable hotel. Particularly worth mentioning is the good food (breakfast and dinner) and the beautiful wellness area. The rooms - especially the sanitary facilities - are a bit dated - but the rooms are comfortable and very clean. The service in the hotel was a lot better during our last stay (2014) - back then, customers were really amazed and the service was outstanding. Today it was OK - no more, no less. All in all - a nice stay in a comfortable hotel with great food, but unfortunately the "wow effect" was missing this time.

In itself a great hotel, but upon arrival there was a disappoin**ent: the shuttle service did not come because there was no one at that time.....we had to walk with our things. which is not possible with so much stuff. ended up taking a taxi for a 10 minute journey at a cost of 25 euros. When we went skiing we were taken to the slopes by a very friendly gentleman who said please call if you need to be picked up again. (it's not far but far enough that you don't want to walk with ski gear) when we returned, the lady behind the reception said that they were not going to pick us up because it wasn't "ski season" yet. I said it was ridiculous and that we have agreed. In the end we were caught. In my opinion, discussion should simply be unnecessary. the manner was not really very friendly either. Furthermore, the beds are soft and sagging. I would not recommend people with weak backs to sleep here. restaurant people were very friendly and knowledgeable. food was also fine and also excellent breakfast. a gentleman at reception was very friendly. We really didn't think the service feeling, price/quality ratio was good.

Very high quality hotel with top service

We knew Zermatt very well and this time it was our first time in the wonderful village of Saas Fee which is one of the most famous destinations in Switzerland. A rather exceptional discovery of this small, traditional and very authentic village. In the heart of the Swiss Alps, the establishment is surrounded by several peaks which peak at 4000m. We have been in love with Switzerland for several years now and we experienced a waking dream observing the beautiful panorama from our room. The bedding was impeccable! This allowed us to rest properly in order to be in shape for the many activities available to you in the village during your stay: Skiing, Hiking, Visits, shops, monuments, etc.... We had the opportunity to eat several times at the Hofsaal restaurant where the food was delicious!!! A daily 4-course menu, or one of the changing menus is offered. The Restaurant will offer you optimal quality products from Switzerland and around the world. The hotel bar is also superb. It’s a perfect place where you can order a wide selection of delicious cocktails and spirits. For beer fans (like us :)), you will have a wide selection, as well as for wines. After discovering the magnificent landscapes of the village through a beautiful and intense hike, we had the pleasure of being able to go to the wellness area of ​​the Hotel. You will benefit from an indoor swimming pool with hot tub, infrared cabins. Different types of saunas and steam baths. And of course a fitness room. Care and trea**ents, and massages are also possible to make you feel relaxed, rejuvenated and conquered. We would like to thank the entire Hotel team again for offering us a wonderful experience in this magnificent village. Calm, serenity, joy, pleasure... Everything was there!!! We without hesitation recommend the Hotel Schweizerhof Saas fee if you are planning a stay in the surrounding area. You will be satisfied on every level.
