Special thanks to Muriel, Demetra & mauro they are an absolute credit to the hotel. Meeting the hotel owner George was also very lovely. We can’t wait to return."

"A short stay, a very good stay. We had two nights in La Gorge towards the end of the ski season and, without doubt, would return. Modern, recently renovated bedroom with clean, well-equipped bathroom. Friendly, helpful staff. Modern, warm ski room to keep the essential bits of kit. Breakfast was decent if unspectacular. The only drawback was the three flights of steps to our room - a killer at the end of the ski day."

"The Amber Hotel is one one of the best hotels we have stayed in. It was my wife's birthday and the staff went out of their way to making it as special as possible for us. The facilities (which are countless) were very relaxing, we enjoyed the jacuzzi, steam and sauna rooms very much. The room was cosy and so very relaxing, not to mention extremely clean. Our toddler enjoyed the breakfast spread, the baked goods were fresh and excellent! Once we parked the car, we rang up the hotel and an electric vehicle came to pick us up post haste, hassle free. We most definitely plan to return again in the near future. Thank you very much, Amber Hotel team!"

"Disclaimer: I didn’t actually stay here, yet. I wandered in while lost in Saas-Fee village, and lured by the smell. The manager did not just solve my problems, she made staying here in the future irresistible. Just look at the backyard view (or maybe your window view). The place is now officially on my to-do list. At CHF 140/night in mid-season, it’s pretty reasonable, by Swiss standards. Flagging this place to remind myself for next time."
