Hotel Capra is a lovely boutique 5 stars property in Saas-Fee. Great location, really nice room and good bedding. Staff are really nice and polite. The breakfast offer a nice selection of dishes and restaurant serve an excellent food, The Maitre d'hotel really nice and have a great knowledge about wines.

Absolutely gem of a hotel! Ticks the luxury/designer box, but not in a trying-too-hard trendy way. Service is above and beyond, in terms of helpfulness, but also friendly, warm and with personality. Spa is beautiful, especially the outdoor heated pool/jacuzzi. And the small but perfectly formed lobby lounge with roaring fire is perfect. Downsides? Not many, but it's not ski-in-ski-out (really not a problem as they have a private ski locker by the slopes). And the restaurant is good but not great, both in terms of food, ambience and views (there's no terrace with sweeping mountain vistas). But these are small things, would definitely recommend and go back. Especially late season (mid-April) when the prices are lower and you have the slopes to yourselves.

We booked directly because we know the village of Saas Fee quite well, 50 years of attendance. We didn't need anyone to decide where to go. Very personalized and friendly welcome. Very fast and efficient reaction to small problems, e.g. Television problem. Resolved the same day. Very comfortable hotel with TOP staff who are very attentive to customers. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. Multi-lingual staff, English, German, French, and perhaps others. We celebrated our golden wedding anniversary there with friendly attention from the management. Absolutely 5-star ski room system with toilet and coffee machine at the slopes. Very pleasant and practical for skiers. We are determined to come back. We can only recommend.

The hotel is beautiful BUT the service is terrible. The front desk team has no idea about customer service. Incompetent. Interns working at check in had no prior experience how to work at a 5 star hotel. Unfortunately the beautiful hotel did not make up for the complete lack of service.
